Hello to all my fellow vjrs,

My interview is on june 26th and as early as today my hubby and monther in law plans to book me a ticket for july 15th. She's working in American Airlines and she offered to get me a ticket but the problem is it will be in Japan so its gonna be from Manila to Japan and Japan to USA. Guys do you think its a good idea to book a ticket as early as now? if so do I need to apply for a transit visa for Japan?

If ever I will fly from manila to LA can anybody give me a hint where to buy a cheaper ticket? thank you guys in advance.

You're not supposed to buy a ticket before you are approved for a visa.

Continental Airlines a one way flight from Manila to LA for $751 on July 15th. Goes through Guam and Hawaii.

It's not advisable to book a ticket before your interview, if your mother in law is working with America Airline it should be easier for her to book a ticket after you've been approved and got your visa.
