Hi I am still waiting for my approval...I have a question maybe you can help me... I filed for I-130 and I filed for I-129f I think my case is on hold because of the 2 petitions... If i don't want to pursure the I-129F anymore what can I do??? Should I write a letter to USCIS and tell them to withdraw my I-129f petition?? Will it take longer for my I-130 to be approved if I withdraw my I-129F? Help me please I keep calling USCIS and they have no information they are telling me to wait 3 months.....I filed I-130 10/24/2008 and it's past my 6 months.................help me please

Yes filing an I-129F tends to slow things down.

Once you file an I-129F there is no way to contact USCIS and withdraw it without killing the I-130 too.

The K-3 was developed at a time when I-130 was taking a LONG time to process (As in a year or longer), this is no longer the case. The K-3 was provided ans an option to allow the spouse to enter the USA an WAIT for I-130 approval so that they can then either continue with counselor process and interview for a spousal visa, or adjust status in the USA. Since USCIS has begun approving them at the same time, this essentially ended the reason the K-3 exists (Entry to USA and waiting for I-130 approval).

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
