  3. 3. We found a 4* hotel/resort for $115ish/night on Hotwire. Should we...

    • Go ahead and reserve the place we know, be excited, and this place happens to be on the beach with a famous name/brand.

We're staying in Honolulu for a few days and we just can't decide where we want to stay.

So many decisions. Any insight?????

What about suggestions for activities/must do or see??

I've been there twice before, but the last time was 20ish years ago. **Wow... didn't realize it was that long ago!**

Thanks to Krikit, she's merging this with two previous threads... there were technological difficulties. :P But, I wanted to share info here that I also shared later in the discussion.....

This will be my fiance's first trip. He had a choice... lol... we could go someplace I've already been and I would be a "normal" tourist or we could go somplace new to me and I would be my normal let's go all-the-time tourist self. With him being on the K1 Vias, kinda put a limit on where we could go. So, we went with Hawaii!

Just so I can put this in to perspective for everyone, we're arriving the day before our cruise departs (the Friday following the wedding) to stay a night so we can better acclimate to the time difference (6 hours - I think from EDT). Then we leave on Saturday for a 7 night cruise. We get back the following Saturday and will be departing the following Wednesday (5 more days and 4 nights).

I can't wait to see what you all think! :)

Here is the link to the other thread so you don't lose everyone's response. I suck. :(

Original Thread

What about a villa up in the mountains or something? I bet that would be fab. You'd get a great ocean view from there!

Way to kill the thread krikit.

Kiddddinggggg

You know, Hawaii is beautiful and generally the people are friendly and it's a pretty happy little place, regardless of what you choose you will enjoy it no doubt! I think the deal you saw on hotwire sounds great!

Yeah... that's what I keep thinking about. It does sound great and I'm SO afraid if I don't take advantage of the price now, we're gonna lose out! *sigh* Decisions, decisions!!!

I always know when you're kidding, T-mix.

I was looking at the poll and had to laugh because I was thinking that people are going to pick the best options because it's not their money that they're spending.

You know, I did have that thought, too. LOL Oh, well. :)
