got the magic words early this morning, PH time. Got my case completed at NVC as of June 8, 09 (US Time) Thanks, everyone. We're almost done.

great.. Congrtaz.. I called the NVC twice y'day for interview date.. nothing yet!! I have been told to wait until the end of this week to see if I get the July interview or not.. I will just call them again today!

Marriage January 23, 2005

September 22, 2008- NOA 1 Received

September 17, 2008- Became a USC

August 26, 2009 call from embassy to PICK UP THE PASSPORT :-)

August 27, 2009 Picked up the passport... woohooo!!!

September 9, 2009 US Entry InshaAllah

October 13, 2009 SSN and green card in mail DONE WITH USCIS until husband applies for his citizenship!!

The journey of 4 years, 8 months, and 3 weeks has ended!!!

I dunno.. i saw someone from Pakistan was scheduled for July 16 interview a few weeks ago so I dunno what's the capacity of the embassy and if they are really busy or what!!

I am not worried about the interview date as much as I am worried about the interview result.. It's very common for Pakistani males to go on AP and I am dreading it.. I just dun have patience for that. :-(

I understand your point. Just gather all documents that would help you during the interview. This will be over very soon. I don't worry too much about it. I keep myself positive. So, stay positive and pray on your interview. I will pray for us all.

I know..I have been to Pakistan almost every year and even stayed there for six months after graduating before I came back for job just so I could sponsor him.. we have enough evidence of an ongoing relationship but I dun think I will be able to go for July interview though since that's the busiest time at work.. I hope it will go smooth... Thanks for keeping us all in your prayers..it will be over soon!

I am waiting to call too.. I may call in the evening.. I am not calling to save myself some disappointment.. everytime they say nothing yet.. it crushes me!!

I see your case was completed on May 13th.. still no interview date.. thats ridiculous! Seems like I am asking for too much since my case was completed on Friday :-(

A friend who is now in US recommended this site to me. She even told me her case number so I would see what I would see if I already have an interview date. She used this to know and check for her appointment. And, I think I also saw this in one of the threads, just didn't pay attention to it, since I already heard about it from a friend.

Try searching for it in VJ website and forums. People said things about it. Some said it's UNRELIABLE...but who knows it might help.

6/05/09- NVC website log-in failed

06/08/09- case completed (per operator/US time) 6/9/09- PH time ..yeah! :-)

06/09/09- interview date assigned (through email)

07/28/09- Cr1 interview date (APPROVED)

07/30/09-Visa Received

08/07/09- US Entry : POE: LAX

08/08/09- Arrival to destination

08/20/09- Permanent card received

10/13/09- SSN received
