I am sitting here, having gathered all information requested, and I am putting the K-1 together...

I've read that you can put tabs at the bottome of your paper work, can you put tabs on the actual forms to do you need to attach and peice of paper for the tabs to be attached to?

I used paper clips, also. Don't forget to date and sign every shred of paper. Be neat and well organized. Good Luck. make sure you paper clip the cheque/money order on top of your paperwork, as that is the first thing they look for.

I remember reading in their site that they don´t like paperclips ´cus they rust and ruin the papers.

You can use those post it tabs and an ACCO fastener with a two hole punch. This is what they say it´s their favorite in the site.

Don't go nuts worrying about the presentation! Just make sure you've got everything they need and arrange it in some way that makes sense. It might be helpful to write out a little index of all the documents included and then arrange everything according to the list.

good luck! :luv:

I used the ACCO fasteners and went ahead and punched the two holes at the top. I read that they like the holes being pre-punched and I figured if it saved them five minutes then what the heck...it only took me like two minutes. Didn't package it fancy or anything...and we got approved. :)

Thanks guys!! You all are awesome. I kept checking back for a little while after I posted it and I figured no one really was around...so I went ahead an put tabs on the bottom of blank sheets stating which form or document was included..(per index in front)

I actually put the check in a plastic baggy attached to a peice of paper and then the copy of the check in our 2nd copy packet.

So someone mentioned signing and dating all peices of paper...

is this what I need to do?

For everything...emails, and copies of letters, and everything that doesn't automatically have a signature and date on it??

Should be ready to go on Wednesday..

UPS with a signature required at drop off! Sound good?

WEll, I signed and dated everything. I wanted to be absolutly sure in the event i was told something wasnt signed or dated. basically, I just wanted to cover my hind end.
