What would be the order of events that would take place if an applicant had a suspicious xray ? I understand they have to give sputum for three consectivive days. Would these specimens be used for smears and cultures ? If the smears were negative what effect would that have on any other tests (culture).

JUST CONFUSED

if a person has a suspicious xray result:

3 day sputum tests

if sputum tests are negative, you wait 2 months for the culture results ( samples taken during the 3 day sputum tests will be used for the culture)

if you get a positive culture result, slec will put you on 6 months medications.
