NO2 Rceived but no mention of NVC

Hi Vjers, i received NO2 in the mail yesterday. There was no email notification and my status online is the same. My prayers are with you guys and i hope you get yours soon.NO2 says " the above petition has been approved and fowarded to the listed consulate". What happened to NVC? Am i missing something?

it gets sent through NVC to the consulate, some letters seem not to be saying that, but they do.

mostly they assign the appropriate consulate and issue a new number

they will run a name check as well

they will send you a letter with the case number when the file has been cleared to move to the consulate... they can be contacted by e-mail or phone as well...

payxibka has pretty much covered all your answers there. You will receive a notice in the mail from NVC stating that the file has been sent to the consulate.
