German military of the early 1990s was picky. They didn't need anybody who wasn't top notch, physically, since they had plenty more to choose from.

I'm an expert painter, I know how to operate machinery, I can build computers from scratch and build guns from parts, I can design web sites and manipulate search engines to list them first, I can diagnose and fix problems with software on all major platforms, I can kick your ####, I speak a couple of languages fluently, and I'll have 5 rounds of eight mill in a hole the size of a quarter on a target a quarter mile away using open iron sights.
