my wife and I are soo tired of being apart so are planning on me going over there until i get my interview date.

I called the US embassy and they said there shouldn't be a problem as long as i can satisfy POE i intend to leave before my 90 days expires, my landlord has agreed to write a letter saying im expected back as i'll still be renting his property, my ex has wrote me a letter stating she believes i will return as not to jeapodise my visa and to see my son and that i am of good character etc although i will be quitting my current job i have an offer of a job on my return and my future employer has agreed to do me a letter stating this and my wife is writing a letter explaining how we wouldn't ruin things after getting all the way through NVC by me over staying which seems obvious to me but its the guys at POE we must convince right?

the only thing that worrys me is i dont have a great deal of savings to go over with but i wont need much as we wont be out partying everynight or anything.! have any of you guys done this and had any problems? any info would be great.!

I visited after submitting a K1 application and was admitted with no problem at all. A lot of people manage it successfully and occasionally someone doesn't. All you can do is provide as much evidence as possible to the IO at the POE that you won't stay beyond 90 days and hope for the best.
