I can't remember what the darn thing was called but it attached to your ankle and you had to swing it around in a circle and at the other end it counted how many times you hopped around to get thing to go in a circle!

Favorite game I remember playing as a kid was dodge traffic or Eat the worm...

dodge traffic? Is that what it sounds like?

Ha ha yes. I had a habit I guess as a tiny little one of escaping the house and wandering aimlessly across busy roads etc. One time I was about 3 maybe and wandered off and my brother ended up finding me a good 10 min walk away from the house about to cross another really busy street. I had already crossed one of the bussiest in the city already. No clue how I managed to do it, but I guess I had a habit of wandering off like that...
