Very Tough!!!

If you have all the proof of on going relationship,it will be fine and nothing to worry about..But in my interview experienced,i thought everthing goes well but its not..I have bunch of chatlogs, emails, photos, greetings cards,etc..But the consul asked me to submit a statement from my fiance about the story behind why he was never been married and he didnt marry the mother of his 2 daughters [same mother], the thing that i never thought the consul would ask me and got a 221g form...So be ready and keep on reading or searching here in VJ about their interview experiences,it will help you a lot..Good luck and say a lot of prayers...God bless

We are just getting ready to submit K-1 and hear that the Embassy in Manila is very tough. is that true?

They are tough, as personal experience with my case. But just come prepared, dot your i's and cross your t's and bring even the smallest piece of paper for evidence. It is better to bring more than enough evidence than not enough. Some will beg to differ, but take it from me, I am on my second go around on this. You need to show beyond reasonable doubt that your relationship is bonafide. Maybe because of my experience I view the interview as, your denied until proven eligible based your evidence. I wish you luck on your interview

in my own personal experience, id say they're AOK  but of course that doesnt mean i didnt prepare myself w/ all the docs and evidence that are needed for me to get approved... i gave them what they ask, and i answered their questions directly and straight to the point... its true also that some got a bad experience regardless if they have all the requirements needed, i guess i just got lucky and i do think most of the member here on VJ that i know of, has a good experience in their interview (or at least came out w/ a pink slip after the interview)... dont worry, you guys should be fine, just be prepare always! good luck on your K1 process

Most interviews seem to go smoothly. If the IO has a hint of doubt then the interview can turn into a big dramatizing event. From my wife's experience and from other posts here in the Philippine forum the female IOs seem to be the strictest and most rude.

My wife is hard of hearing and this aggitated the female IO. Then IO contested my wife's love. My wife did not give in to her accusations. Next we got the MNL-IV-22 (many mistakenly call a 221g) white paper for document verification. This caused a 10 week delay. Lucky for you doc verification has been done away with.

So if your patient, persistent, and follow the rules you will eventually get a visa.
