hi ..i was member of this forum many months ago and i was reading all ..well finally we sent papers for visa K1 and a week ago we received the confirmation paper (with our case number) that they received the files and money but i saw that where say the name of the beneficiary they wrote my lasr name wrong ) is missing a leter e= do yopu think i will have problems for that or only the mistake is in this paper ..please if somebody had the same problem tell me to can breath ..iam getting worried ..thanks for all your future help ..

january 29, 2007: medical exam

february 22, 2007: enterview

february 27, 2007: visa in hand

july 26, 2007 sent papers to Chicago

july 27, 2007 papers received

august 22, 2007 noa

september 10, 2007 biometrics

october 1, 2007 case transfered to california

october 5, 2007 touched

october 7, 2007 touched

Yepp...they wrote my fiances name (USC) wrong, he called the Service Center; when we recieved the approval notice, the name was written right.

No big deal, don't worry at all. :)

Actually the name was still spelled wrong, and NVC got back to the very first version of spelling, but on my visa, his name is finally spelled correctly, maybe because this time they went by how I spelled it on the visa application form.... :lol:
