hey guys

i recieved my approval on april 27th and it said to wait 60 days for card---i did a service enquiry anyway and recieved a mail saying that my case was approved and PENDING card production in 60 days---i wonder is it possible to get the card in the mail without getting the card production email or any other notice or do you have to get some type of email or should we be checking our mailbox for the card everyday----i do know there is a 8 week delay but maybe it will come in the mail without any email notices?????

what do you think?

I just got an email from CRIS that., approval notice sent on 06/02/2009. Does this mean that my GREEN CARD has been sent? USCIS is getting me confused; making a fool out of a Master degree holder. As you guys may well know that:

1. I filed on 08/17/2008

2. Approved on 04/16/2009

3. Approval letter in the mail on 04/18/2009

4. Card production ordered 2x; 05/20/2009 and 05/28/2009

5. And, yesterday 06/02/2009, approval notice sent.

Again, is approval notice the same thing as GREEN CARD? Please help! I am an illitrate for the moment. Thank you all.

You should know that because as you have said, you are a Master's degree holder. You should know the difference between a "notice" and a "card". Wait for your green card to reach your mail box.

And as you have said here in your user portal you filed for naturalization but then you are talking about your green card???????

This one shows that you think that having a green card means that you are already a citizen...

I guess you now know that I'm not stupid. When I asked an 'honest' question after I have studied the illogical pattern that USCIS used to process applications, you called me a fool for not knowing the difference between a 'notice and a 'card. You even added insult to injury by insinuating that I'm an educated-illiterate ( that I thougt a grren card holder equates a citizen)

Check this out! I got a card in the mail not 'a notice'. You arrogantly thought you understood USCIS' vocabulary; and you were proved wrong.

Please, always be gentle on people, no matter how smart or dum they might claim to be. No question is a stupid question to intelligent person. I rest my case.

Masters degree doesn't have to do anything to understand the situation you have. So don't need to mention it anyways..

But USCIS when approves an application, they first notify by mail then sends out the green card. Have a nice cup of coffe, sit back and wait for the GC.

Pray for others who are in da same boat

Congrats!

Sir, pardon me, but you gave reason to pointed out this issue. YOu were here to ask a simple question and there is no link of masters degree with USCIS approval notice of GC. You should be wise enough to understand, they are writing you letter to inform that Your application has be approved and USCIS must have mentioned in the letter as well you will be getting GC in a seperate mail.

I am not being hater nor making any issue, but ppl make always fun out of you when you give them any reason. Noone calls anyone stupid unless he does any stupidity.

Congratulations anyways..!

The fact that he holds a master's degree doesn't magically entitle him to know every single aspect of the immigration process.

Thats true but then he was the one that wrote first to let everybody know that he has a Master Degree...

Csoul and the like, stop hating! The issue here is not about having Msc degree or not. I never intended to show off my educational achievement. I was just making a point that USCIS could make a fool out of the best mind. I am fully aware that many among us are PHd holders and more. I never meant to raise my shoulder or blow my triumpet. Please, let's talk about the real issue and leave the non issue alone. God loves everybody.
