Hello All!

I just recently posted a topic last week about the RFE that we received. I didn't read much about the said RFE because I was very disappointed.

Now that we are still waiting for any progress about our case, I decided to read again the white paper that came with the blue RFE notice.

I noticed that the things written in the white paper is very much contradictory to the other paragraph that I posted here asking for help about the said RFE.

Here is what the white paper says: (notice the bold parts)

REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL EVIDENCE (I-485)

This office is unable to complete the processing of your Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, (Form I-485) without additional information. Please submit the information requested below.

I-693 Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record

A review of the record indicates that you entered the US pursuant to a valid K1 non-immigrant visa. All USCIS records relating to you have been reviewed. The US Department of State Medical forms DS2053, DS3025 and DS3026 are not in any of those records. This office did receive your complete Vaccination Results with your I-485 filing, but the incomplete I-693 submitted is insufficient in meeting the other necessary medical requirements.

Note:

I was already advised by one of the members here to redo the medical again because my medical from the Philippines was lost.

But as I was reading the white paper, it made me think again. Do I only need to submit the I-693 or redo the whole medical?

I already submitted the I-693 together with the AOS packet. I used Dr. Arnold's service. Unfortunately, I didn't submit my DS3025 along with the AOS packet

because I thought that the I-693 replaces the DS3025. I also thought that Dr. Arnold's office included a copy of my DS3025 with the Form I-693 since he required

it when he made the I-693.

I hope anybody there could enlighten me up again.

Thank you and God bless!

It's not Dr Arnold's fault - USCIS have lost your medical file (the one from the Phillipines). Ya just got to suck it up, and redo the whole medical - sorry.

The US Department of State Medical forms DS2053, DS3025 and DS3026 are not in any of those records.

That's the sentence telling you that the 3 forms that come from the medical in the Phils did not make it to your records. Those forms included all the information about your bloodwork, mental health, chest x-ray or sputum test, and immunizations. That info is lost, so has to be redone and reported in a completely filled out I-693 by a Civil Surgeon.

This office did receive your complete Vaccination Results with your I-485 filing, but the incomplete I-693 submitted is insufficient in meeting the other necessary medical requirements

That means they got your Dr. Arnold transcription of your immunizations and it's good, but is only one section of the whole I-693. But they need more than your immunizations to approve you...like knowing you are free of disease, TB, and aren't mentally unstable. Had your medical files not been lost, then they would have had all they needed. All you can do is have those things done over in the US, unless you want to take a lot of time and effort to try to track down the lost envelope from POE and probably get nowhere trying. There is a link in the sticky thread about the medical at the top of ths forum where somebody actually tracked down their records and how they did it. I think it's at the end of the first post in the thread.

Exactly.

They have your vaccination records (I-693 that Dr. Arnold completed), but they LOST the medical records from your overseas exam.

You have to redo the whole medical. They want the whole I-693 completed, not just the vaccination section.

Thank you soo much for the help, everyone!!

You guys are truly the best!

I have my doctor's appointment for tomorrow to do my medical.

I'm glad to find a CS who charged us for $150 to do the medical plus the TB test.

NichNick is right! You have to do your medical again. USCIS might lost the ur phily Medical record. These days Almost all authorized USCIS doctors are charding less to do your immi medical in full. Mine was done in 160$ (full medical with transcribed). They were like no matter if you are here just for shots or full medical the price is same so i decided to go for full one, this way my medical is again valid for one year :D
