Shemmy - my co worker just came over to my desk earlier talking about how she want to move to Atlanta. It's cheaper than maryland and she wants her daughter in a better school system.

Wait - What are Anonymous Users? Or should say...Who are the annoymous users? Hahaha show ya face already...

Atlanta has a better school system than Maryland? Mi nevah know dat.

Me either...I don't have kids and just never really thought about schools. I guess where she lives...it's not good.

All cities have good and bad schools. We moved out of PG county (MD) so my daughter can get a better education.

Disclaimer - all schools in PG are not bad....just where we lived.

My all time favorite is

Mackrel, dumplin, yam, bannana, sweet potato (but di white one)...cook dung di mackrel with some tomatoes, onions, peppers, garlic and I'm in heaven....

Lawny Yuh steal mi recipe? but I use pumpkin instead of sweet potato. I use the same ingredients in my bully beef as well. Now I am starving, I never got lunch so I'm going to heat up my curry chicken now!

oh my goodness.. that was my dinna EVERYDAY almost while w/Roger's ppl.. that EXACT meal.. wha mek ya put all di starch dem on one plate?? IT WAS GOOOOD tho...oooh mackrel neva looked soo good!

that's what most of my friends in the states ask...mi no know, but all I know is the more starch mi eat, di more mi want and that's not always a GREAT thing, dats why mi end up wid a table batty (no baddah laugh)....

Dats why you cook bullie bally beef what eva that was for you and him and beans for the kids. You don’t suffer cause they have to suffer shoot you and hubby are following the rules so they get beans and you get food. I say torture them and make a real big dinner. Serve you and hubby and then when they come to the table and there mouths are watering at what u all are bout to eat say oops my bab I meant to get your plates and bring them the pot of beans and say Bon appetite..

DADA, i dont anything about NC but im willing to look and take a chance. I feel like its time for some major changes in my life. This company also offers relocation to some spots in Tennesee, MS, VA, and NC. They have alot of spots in different states. It is called Youth Villages, they do residential foster care, which i was doing last summer. Of the openings they have where they are willing to relocate, North Carolina sounded the best to me, my dad lives in MS and i have no desire to live there, to damn hot and country. Now maybe NC is the same, but hopefully not.

I vote for VA

NC is nice. I would love to move there but would have to divorce Damien first Think he wants to stay here forever.

My cousin just moved to Richmond and she loves it!!!

Hey I made this last week and I did a heck of a good job. At first my kids looked at it like uh oh not again. See last time I made it I think I put too much wata in it so it tasted like mush. Note to self not as much wata. So I tried again this time and B-I-N-G-O. Brownstew chicken at your service. We ate it with rice and baked beans (my version of rice and peas) and it was bomba ta the diggity!!!!

I want to learn how to make festival. Those things are my all time favorite!!! Yes leave it to me to find the fattest food in JA and fall in love with it.

dont remember who wants the weave but milky way have this weave called indian collection you can wear it straight or curly and they have diffrent type of curls you can choose from before i had my "good weave" i used this hair and it was not that bad actually it was pretty good for beauty supply store hair...

U might not b able to jump up and celebrate but in your mind I’m sure you’ll be doing cart wheels…. Girl you know you give me tingles when you talk about that surgery. Ugh it’s so much they have to do but if this will help you form being in pain well I guess you have to do what you have to do. You tell dat doc mi said he got just one time and on time only to do this right. If em mess up me coming a hunting fi em and it won’t be to shake his hand. I pray this surgery will be a success. And then hopefully Dr. A can take it from there.

My prayers are with your sister as well. We have some EXCELLENT public schools here in Atlanta...definitely depends on demographics though. I'm a product of Atlanta Public Schools and I don't think I'm too shabby. LOL

i have lived in MS, Michigan, Went to school in Ark, traveled frequently to TX and wound up back here, now im ready to go.. my son will be out of school in 2 years and i was trying to wait till he graduated but i dont think i can last that long so im putting my feelers out to get the hell outta here!!!

Dang Honey; I've lived in NY, FL, GA, AZ...but I'm a daddy's girl, so I made sure I purchased a home 2 miles from my parents...I don't know what I'm going to do when they move back home in November

I love the way my friends in the states make rice-n-peas, I just laugh, most of the time the peas mash out in the rice. Once my co-worker asked if it's food colouring I used, I just looked at her.

My rice-n-peas have the best taste and is very moist and separated...but still not the same texture as Jamaican...I can't get it to "dry" out right. Does that make sense?

I don't think it is over population...just very poor transportation system and planning. The bumper to bumper traffic is enough to make you slit your own wrists with baby teeth.
