This is the third time I have heard about 5th grade graduation. Could you please enlighten me? I did not go to grade or high school here we have a different system....and my daughter is currently going to eighth grade and I do not remember any graduation except from daycare. I know, another stupid question from this chick. :unsure:

We didn't have this at my elementary school (New Orleans) either.

Good morning, everyone. I'm giving a speech today at work for Toastmasters. Instead of practicing last night, I was on the phone with Steven for 3 hours, so I don't have it as memorized as I should. Wish me well!

Shrew don't do it, run away, far away.

Nat, you'll do fine. I don't like presentations, much less speeches. Sometimes my accent gets mixed up and then I get nervous and off track.

my poor daughter is upset the twins who lost their mom are finding out they have to move... (dad is in the military and is deployed) Its hard for them they have been in the same class since kindergarten .. she said mom i wish they could stay with us till their dad came back .. I told i wish i had the room .

Im always paranoid about that stuff anyway because I knew a lady taht took some diet pill (Over the counter) and had a heart attack

but I must admit I would like some energy to get stuff done!

i do and i dont like not being able to make her feel better.. but she is a strong girl and very mature so im sure we will get through this..

You both will, but I know the feeling. Last year, when my mother-in-law passed in Jamaica, we were all at a water park and my husband started crying after he got the phone call. My son asked him why he was crying and my husband told him that his mom just died. My son was 5 at the time and he gave my husband a hug and told him it's okay, you can share my mommy that way you won't be said. I just started to bawl... I don't know, but children are a lot stronger (emotionally) than we think they are.

Yeah i know my daughter gets me through alot i lost my brother almost 6 years ago and when i get said she always hugs me and say mommy hes with jesus and he is watching over us ...

Oh my gosh! That is too sweet, gets me all teary reading it.

Kids can say just the right things sometimes and they always know when a hug is needed!

My2, you should make sure you get the twin's address. I am sure it would make them feel good if your daughter kept in touch.. letters, pics...

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On June 8, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.
