Hi yardies --

How's everybody? I just wanted to peak in and let you know that AW and I had our interview last week and we were approved. Sorry for the delay in getting the word out -- my phone was acting up and stopped working the day of the interview so I couldn't text Shemmy liked I promised. I'll write more details about the interview in my timeline, but it was a lot of waiting around, but the interview itself went by so fast that I had to ask the women who interviewed us if she could repeat our approval -- I wanted to make sure I heard her correctly!

Thanks to everyone on this board for the support and sharing of info! Love you guys!

Unruly

YAY!!! Congrats Unruly!! :dancing:

When is he coming???

He's not coming until late Summer (August/early Sept.). He's going to spend the summer with his daughter and make sure she has everything she needs for the next school term. I also start a new job in mid-July that I will need to get use to the new routine this job will bring. So we waited this long a few more months will hopefully fly by.

hello everyone. Congrats to all new approvals and NOA's. Best of luck to all.

Just checking in!

Question: Is there a website with information on how to order any JA food items in this country? Someone on here mentioned that you could order some ackee (sp), etc.

i will be working philly BLAH!!

bunz! can u tell me if u think immigration in MoBay would give someone a hard time w/ a visitor visa???.. i am trying to get a flight for Roger and don't know if i can get a 8:30 flight or just get a 11:30 flight to be safe.. i have a flight w/a 3hr layover just in case he has problems at immigration here w/ his connecting flight

unless i am misinterpreting your question, immigration in jamaica not supposed to give any jamaican problems

 Bunz, I had to laugh at that

Ladies you know who was my first favorite author... I'm LMAO just thinking about it... Jackie Collins. Whoo did I love me some Jackie Collins and I think I started reading her in high school.

Now, that was the BOMB! and other old school authors like Jacqueline Susan. I like my novels dirty and unadulterated.

My favorite authors though are Toni Morrison, Tom Robbins, Elizabeth Gilbert....

I saw Tyson on a Macy's commercial and wondered if he's married.

What I found out while doing research is that he was considered for the role of Winston in "How Stella Got Her Groove Back."

AND he is 1/4 Jamaican, 1/4 Chinese, 1/4 Ghanian, and 1/4 Panamania

His looks and genetic makeup support the premise of that book I read a few weeks ago, "Breeding Between the Lines: Why Interracial People are Healthier and More Attractive."

In better news!!! I just finished watching Digicel Rising Stars.  Tia (my fiance's sister) is moving on!  The judges put her in the Top 10 of all Montego Bay auditioners. People voted for those 10, and the top 2 chosen by votes and a 3rd act chosen by the judges moved on. Tia was in the top 2 vote getters!!

I haven't followed Rising Stars before, so I'm not sure what happens next. But looks like I'll keep my subscription to TVJ for a while longer! :star:
