hey ya'll its sooo crazy today at work.. freaky friday.. i got so much to do.. AGAIN this weekend, but nothing fun JG.. i need a vacay!

jaenglish that WAS me!! girl that was sooooo long ago i didn't remember LOL.. and turned out the person was playing a joke on me.. i found out it was an email that was going around at the time.. i was HOT and then glad cuz whoever would do that had to be mentally unstable..

philly.. girl. u know that has been my biggest worry and this time next mnth i will see how it all pans out. it takes time i do believe and the adjustment for our children is def a big one to have a new father figure so i just pray for peace while u wait on them to get used to the situation..

THANK YOU irie for ur story.. i am not happy about anyones struggle, but it does feel good to know someone else out there has been down this road.. Roger has 3 kids, but u still never know about how someone will be w/ YOUR kids.. esp knowing that our kids (or mine anyway) are a lot more spoiled than most in JA.

princess.. i am sorry to hear ur SO lost his job.. i know this is a hard time for u both.. no weapon formed against u shall prosper.. the way will be made for the finances to come when and how u need them.. .. just try to stay strong..

dillon.. good luck w/ the wedding invites hon.. i am thankful my family is VERY small so i don't have to worry about hurting no body's feelings which i most def WOULD.. i don't have no money to be wasting just cuz somebody say they are my blood or we know each other from WAYYYY back..

i know there is a certain etiquette when it comes to these things.. but my money is very ghetto and gully so it don't know nothing about the rules... :jest:

VJ ladies I am typing with tears in my eyes. Hubby and I had a huge fight abt my finances. I am in a lot of debt and I tried to hide it from him. he found out. I dont feel that I should tell him abt them cuz they are NOT his debt. He says he cannot trust me cuz I hide these stuff from him. He cannot help me cuz I make way more than him.

What a coincidence that this happened cuz I see that u ladies are talking abt money and finances!

awh 1luv...sorry so late..but I hope you feel better.

My husband drilled me...and I had to admit how my student loans are high. I could have a brand new car for the price of my loans. I was embarrassed at how high they are. But He did comfort me with reassuring that if I had not gone to college I wouldn't be making how much I make now...and I wouldn't have met him :luv: . I was on my spring break.

With my student loans I could have bought a newly built house with an in-ground pool. But student loans don’t really count against your credit (except if you don't pay them.) They are considered "good debts" and can actually help. You shouldn't be embarrassed. Actually there is a high percentage of college students that have to take out loans and your husband is right. :thumbs: (Without the loans, how would I have the job that I have to payback the loans that I took out to get the job that I have??? :wacko: )

I don't know if ya'll saw the thread about too many Co-Sponsors, but it has me stressing over money...

I was reading the thread by Valsu about his wife being in prison because he did not have the money to file for AOS...

My SO no longer has his job :(

He is looking but ya'll know how it is...

So now the money for the K1 is going to be all on me, as well as the AOS fees since he will not be able to save like we discussed...

I make good money, but my expenses are high and most months it is paycheck to paycheck. I was saving 100 a month for the K1 and was ok there... I guess if I keep up the $100 a month savings we will be okay...

I am just freaking about the money...

This process noh easy at all... :no:

Like JG said, take it one day at a time. I know people who came up on K-1 and didn't file until 2 years later cause they didn't have the funds...when I decided on going the K-1 route I had to look into the cost, including the AOS, trips to Jamaica. I figured if I had to come up with the filing fee for the K-1 and AOS, he can take care of everything else on his end in Jamaica and he did.
