Hey yall!

How is everyone doing on the lovely Thursday evening?

Im fine Portland......can't wait till tmrrw.....means I am closer to the weekend....YAY

I know how that is, even thought I had to double check to make sure today was Thursday, cause this week just flew by...

Let me ask you all a question since most us are either getting or have got married when sending out invitations do you invite those family members you never talk to and you know they are not coming .

Right now we are doing our guest list to send out our save the date and only close friends and family allowed, but we are only having 65ppl including us and the wedding party. So when the 65th name is written if your name was not one of them then your just not invited. Sorry!!! As everyone said just want ppl their who means us well!!

So things for the wedding are just starting to move, I finally got a whole of a wedding planner in JA who is my step sis, SIL. My girls like the dresses I picked out for them and our save the date proof is on its way.... Things are moving!!! yah!!!

1luv.totally know what ur saying..i didnt try to hide mine because we talked about it while he was in ja..all during making plans for the wedding and visiting and such..just be honest even his money cant make a dent in ur debt u must still be open with it..this also teaches them about credit and such..sorry babes..

VJ ladies I am typing with tears in my eyes. Hubby and I had a huge fight abt my finances. I am in a lot of debt and I tried to hide it from him. he found out. I dont feel that I should tell him abt them cuz they are NOT his debt. He says he cannot trust me cuz I hide these stuff from him. He cannot help me cuz I make way more than him.

What a coincidence that this happened cuz I see that u ladies are talking abt money and finances!

Yay! I got to watch Rising Stars. It cut off when they were showing the Top 10 at the end & giving the numbers to call/text to vote. But God was looking out for me, cause it cut off in the middle of #7. Steven's sister was #6 (vote! 876-444-5506). Turns out she's performing as Princess Tiana now (previously performed under the name Princess Tia).

The video from TVJ comes across clearly, but the audio could use a lot of improvement.

Edited To Add: What's up with death announcements coming on TV in Jamaica??? This would be depressing.

Now I am a firm believer of keeping finances separate but don’t let your financial woes be a hung-up in your marriage. Keeping a secret that can so hugely affect your livelihood usually never turn out well. But now that he knows even if in the end you are the one who continues to make the payments maybe at least he can help you to micromanage your accounts. Maybe he has time and can look into consolidation, or can draw out a workable budget or find some others options to help you get them down. The contributions does not always have to be financial just having him involved supportively can make all the difference, IMHO.

That is one of the reasons I never wanted to get married in the US - Cause I have 2nd cousins that I am really close to, but 1st cousins that I could pass on the street and not know who they are - it was always an argument when my family would talk about it, cause at my sister's wedding my father insisted they all be invited, plus his friends, etc... - Almost 400 people - No way, not me!

1luv, I am so sorry to hear - but it's out in the open, you can work through it and move forward. Hiding things is never good - When my Dad died, we discovered all kinds of credit card debt that my mother had no clue about - She was so angry with him for hiding it, and it took us so long to straighten it all out.
