LS, I think you need to just slow down. I can see why you are pissed but you need to relax and have a serious conversation about this with him.

to be honest I don't know what the hype is with a child having a cell phone, I didn't have one and my parents knew where I was. I don't think it's a necessity. It's a damn shame to read about a 7 or 8 year old who has to have carpal tunnell surgery or has arithis in their fingers due to texting or playing video games (another thing that pisses me off)....on let the X-BOX baby sit your child, damn, I'd rather be outside runining up and down the side walk or riding my bike.

I feel you on this Lawny. I had to set a timer for my oldest and the X-Box. At first I let it go but then I noticed he was in the house ALL DAY long form sun up past sun down playing that thing. He only came out his room to go to the bathroom and eat. Most of the times he held from going to the bathroom so long he would knock you over trying to get to it. One time I was mean and stood in front of the door like can I help you? He was like mom please I have to go . I decided to have a conversation with him to see how school and things were going. I thought he was about to explode but that is what he got from holding it so long. From then on he started going as soon as he got the urge. So now I set a timer. He is not allowed to play it at all on school nights and on the weekends he gets two hours a day and he can use his two hours how he wishes. But I had to because he was gaining weight from sitting in the house all day on that thing.

I had a Nintendo when I was a kid but I only played in when I had to come in the house. Otherwise my parents wouldn’t see me all day.

So, I have a whole fish on my plate in my office on my desk (HEAD) and all. My boss comes in to put something in my in box and she screams and runs out the office WTH...I have to meet with her in 20 mins about my salary letter, I hope she calms down by them.

I think I'd have a LONG talk with him about this.

I have some family here from England that came to see my son, they haven't see him since he was born. So, now, he's being spoiled rotten with whatever he wants to eat. I don't think they even went to sleep last night. They about to make bread and cake when I left this morning.

Girl, I'm telling you people in Europe must be blessed. My cousins are on holiday for 8 weeks (PAID), I'm like damn! They're going to NY, FL, Texas and Canada...after that, they'll be in Jamaica with us in August.
