And no I am not on your side. Children are a blessing and it is the best thing that has happened to me in my life....you are going to kick yourself that you waited to long once you have one. You will never know the love you can have for someone until you have a child. IMHO

How long would you say is too long? I'm thinking to wait until 30 (3 yrs), but Steven wants me to have one yesterday. Perhaps it's because people rather talk about the bad (unordinary) than the good (ordinary), but every coworker that has kids talks about the amount of money kids cost & the restrictions on travel they have with young kids.

i wonder this too... i had this weird dream last week my father who passed away was talking to me and he asked me if i was planning on waiting 5 years until i start having kids, so i told him in an ideal world in 5 yrs i will be well off and in a betta situation to take care of a child so yeah, he then tells me right now is not a good time but you will or you should have a child within the next year so i told him okay because i dont want to be and old parent so i guess i can do that.... the whole time it was this white lady with glasses taking notes????

4/17/09- VSC cashed check

4/20/09-NOA1 hard copy

4/20/09-Touched

4/20/09- now we wait...

8/27/09- touched

8/31/09- approved!!

9/4/09- letter saying they mailed info to kingston

11/16/09 sent DS230 via email

11/18/09 rec email stating interview was scheduled for Dec

11/19/09 sent email asking what day in Dec and they responded Dec 8th!!!!! 2WEEKS

11/20/09 rescheduled to Dec 22 my preference date

12/22/09 Went to JA 12/9 and di ting is postponed until mi kno it's right!!! mi nah rush into nothing mi rather wait forever and kno everyting proper and sort out then rush and bawl lata... Mi kno when mi ting ah happen it ah happen RIGHT suh fah now mi ah wait likkle more...

She was a mess. It's one thing to be heavy but having fat flopping around that like...ain't cute.

and those stretch marks are wild

and i am not a slim girl either

BUT she tek it too far!

I would wait. You need to to make sure you two are compatible before rushing into parenthood, so many marriages fail these days you need to make sure you're building on a strong foundation....Not saying that your marriage is necessarily doomed, but I think it's madness to rush into having kids too soon....

i agree w/ that wholeheartedly.. relationships are fragile.. its easier to pick up and move on (IF NEEDED) w/ no kids!

and kk.. mi nuh rush u.. take ur time..i mean ryan is still in skool i know. i dont think there is a such thing as waiting too long, i have a coworker that had her son at 42 and she is more active w/ him than i am w/ mine, but i also believe sometimes ppl will never be ready.. i mean there is always gonna be one last promotion u wanna get or one last trip u wanna take.. when u and hubby are wanna share ur love, time and space w/ someone beside ur likkle puppy LOL then just do it...

Exactly...not her weight...it was the costume. I am queen sized and was in the carnival three years but chose better costumes. She wanted everyone to take her picture...loved the attention.

sus, I hate it when friends of mine get too damn drunk and can't control themselves then try to fight you when you try to help them. That is just plain embrassing and I'm not the one. I've had to drag friends out of Pier One in Jamaica because they lose their damn mines cause they under their weed and juice and decides it's time to be in their birthday suits -- I can't deal with that, so to avoid it, when they ask me if they can come with me on a trip I flat out say NO! -- I'm not going to hide the fact that I'm going on vacation, your baxide just not coming with me.
