My daughter is on her way to Las Vegas with my Mom and Aunt for a month. Hubby thought that she should have a cell phone so he could call and check in with her so he got her one. I just don't know how I feel about this but his justification was that kids in Jamaica have them at that age. We will see how it goes...I was thinking more around 5-6 grade but 2nd!

My husband says people have bad mind...so he didn't tell nobody till the day he left. He left the same day he got the visa.

A is the same way. It's sad but oohhh so true. I think I'm going to worry everyday until he gets here now that the visa is actually in hand.

I know Lawny...but I'm not a fan of some of his associates (he doesn't call them friends either)...they know each other because of the neighborhood...but if they find out that he has visa for Canada and the US...oh man! I'm just ready for 8/20 to get here. He said he wished we had booked it for an earlier date now too. The whole purpose was for him to spend time with his girls...and babymama is playing games again and won't let him see them on a regular basis.

I can't change the ticket because I used my credit voucher from last year. *sigh*

u know jawi..when i saw that he was staying to be w/ the girls, i was gonna ask had there been a change of heart on her part but i didn't want to jinx anything by even mentioning it.. i remember baby mama is not EASY AT ALL!!!!! im so sorry to hear this honey, u know i feel ur pain.. its so upsetting some men and women cannot move on!!!

Well when he first got back from Canada for the process...it looked like she had a change of heart and was letting them stay with him...until she found out he still doesn't want her...then back to the games. At this point, I have given up that she will ever let them stay with us...so we will probably try for visitor's visas for them to stay when school is out instead. Crazy.

I got one for my son (just out of Kindergarten)...but only so he gets used to using a cell phone since we don't have a home phone. He only gets to use it here at home to call his dad, me, his aunt, uncle, and grandmommy. He will talk to each of us for about two minutes...if he dialed the wrong number is will say "Mommy!!! You aren't my Uncle...Bye!" like we were the ones to misdial. It is too cute.

I got it for him after we had an afterschool scare. The babysitter was going on vacation during my bedrest period. So my oldest son's father was supposed to pick him up from school instead. He got to school and Jaden was gone. He managed to beat the school bus to the babysitter's neigborhood and get Jaden....but I was scared to death...I would have walked if I had to...but I was going to find my baby. It was my fault because I didn't include a note to the teacher...he told her the new directions...but she didn't believe him so she put him on the bus like normal.

Girl the cheaper the better....these people have to fork out a lot of money to be in a wedding you really need to think about that. The dresses my girls wore were 45.00. Remember they have to get their hair done, jewelry, travel etc. You can still have them look nice without having them pay an arm and a leg.

And no I am not on your side. Children are a blessing and it is the best thing that has happened to me in my life....you are going to kick yourself that you waited to long once you have one. You will never know the love you can have for someone until you have a child. IMHO
