Sus, your friend needs a good smack upside her damn head!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

tell har what an #### she is making of herself and enroll her in AA

Been there, done that - she doesn't listen -

on a serious note, this exact thing happened to my best friend. she got divorced and went through some tough times. then she started drinking more and more and acting so ridiculous. she would get so wasted that she did not remember a thing that she did. last summer, she got really drunk and got into an altercation with her ex-husband over the kids. she stabbed him in the chest and she is now doing 9 years in prison. I just wish there was something more I could have done to intervene on her drinking...

most likely your friend is an alcoholic. and she needs serious professional help..

I have a good friend that doesn’t seem to drink all the time but when she drinks she gets violent. I have gone out with her a few times and when she started drinking she would try to hit me or fall all over me. I let it go because I figured she was drunk and didn’t know any better but man enough is enough. Last time we went out to watch the Steelers win :star: she got drunk and next thing I know she was hitting me so I figured the best way to teach her is to hit her back so I bopped the ish out of her and the next day when she was sore and asked me from what I told her. Moral of the story she now only drinks so much.

that freaking DISGUSTING.. omg.. did she realize afterwards what she had did??? ya'll need to go take his pic and everytime she try and drink ya'll need to show her a picture of him smiling !!!!!!!!

She realized the next day when he was calling her and she suddenly had a # popping up that said "Glenn - Jerk Chicken man", and a hickey!

Dang..I want some jerked chicken now...

to be honest I don't know what the hype is with a child having a cell phone, I didn't have one and my parents knew where I was. I don't think it's a necessity. It's a damn shame to read about a 7 or 8 year old who has to have carpal tunnell surgery or has arithis in their fingers due to texting or playing video games (another thing that pisses me off)....on let the X-BOX baby sit your child, damn, I'd rather be outside runining up and down the side walk or riding my bike.

....when it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead LOOK beside you and I'll be there.....

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

I AGREE!!! Thats another thing we dont have... video games. Last time I had a video game it was ATARI! That was at my dad's when I was little! Now its the same for Tierra. She gets to play Wii at her dad's for the month she is there.

I bought her a nice bike for her birthday. Thats her favorite thing..to just be outside and getting dirty! I know she has had a good day when (as my mom would say) you could plant potatoes under her fingernails! :P

My husband says people have bad mind...so he didn't tell nobody till the day he left. He left the same day he got the visa.

A is the same way. It's sad but oohhh so true. I think I'm going to worry everyday until he gets here now that the visa is actually in hand.

:wow:

heck no.. mi cyann deal wid it.. i don't like to babysit ANYWHERE let alone another country.. i really hate to have to be put in that situation.. becuz i don't drink i always say its not their fault, but ive been told its possible to KNOW when u have had too much to drink...

It is possible to know - and there are nights where it just hits you wrong - I have gone out and been plastered off of one drink - other nights I have had 4-5 and been fine - We all have those nights - and it's one thing when you have a bad night once in a while - She does it EVERY time -

Fri night she made out with the jerk chicken vendor from the Boulevard - who is old, grungy, and I would swear is missing teeth - Which probably explains how he got a good grasp of her neck to give her a hickey!

:wow:

speaking of cell phones..at what age would you get your child a cell phone?

When she has a job and can pay for it herself!

I don't even use a cell phone. I have a prepaid one for when I go on trips/long drives or whatever but that all I use it for.

If my daughter was going somewhere and had a good reason for needing one then I would let her get a pre-paid as well.

Ur kidding right Irie? No cell phone? I don't remember life without it. My mom worked for the cell phone company from when they were car phones. I didn't get my own until college though. But that was the time when it was billed by the minutes at first.

yeah, I know, I am probably one of the only people left! I like the simple life. I didnt have cable until Louis got here. It was wonderful! I wouldnt even have this computer if my job didnt pay for it! LOL

i feel u irie.. i didn't have cable until last couple of mnths, still don't have a laptop.. i have to have a cell tho.. i like to be able to access ppl when i need, even tho i am not that accessible :innocent:
