RANT: How in the hell can we run out of diet soda on a Monday???????

Work provides us with soda. There are 5 million cans of regular soda in the frig. Not one single diet. Who the hell buys it and why aren't they paying attention??????????

it's a sign from God...to drink water today....

as I duck from your reply....:innocent:

Ha ha.

Water is later in the afternoon. I need my caffine this morning.

Morning Yardies, I had a sad weekend. My boo's Grandma died on Saturday. He is doing ok now but just want to know if there is a way he can get an emergency AP to go to the funeral without filing AOS???

Lovesponge - Emergency AP ONLY applies once you are married - if he leaves the US before you marry and file to adjust status, it will void the K1 - Sorry to hear about his Grandma -

Whether you have filed AOS or not Sus? You might be in luck Lovesponge since your wedding is on Friday (next). Generally funerals in Jamaica are weeks or even a month after the person passes.

LOL. sweetie I dont even know what the form is called is the form where u can file 0,1,2..... :help::help::help:

really depends on your personal tax situation. are you married? does your husband claim you? do you have any kids?

the lower the exemptions you claim, the more taxes get taken out...but then you may get a bigger refund at the end of the year

if you claim too many exemptions, then you may have to pay at the end of the year..

I am not positive - But I can guarantee that they have to get married before he would even have a chance of AP - The K1 is good for 1 entry only, and you have to marry within 90 days - if you leave the US before you marry, it voids the K1 - I remember someone having this issue on the site (not JA) where she left, and they had to start over again.

Okay...I promise only one random post...here it goes:

5 Easy (and Free) Ways to Make Men Smile

It doesn't cost a million bucks to make the guy in your life happy. Here, a Glamour dating blogger shares his five sure-fire ways to get a man to smile. And they're all free … take that, troubled economy!

1) Touch his arm.

There are a lot of ways to subtly let a guy know you're into him, like maintaining eye contact, playing with your hair and smiling a lot. But the only one that sends shivers down my spine is when a girl touches my arm during conversation. It always surprises me and it's always great.

2) Send him a random text message in the middle of the day.

OK, this might not be free depending on your cell phone plan, but it's still a great value. Nothing breaks the monotony of a long workday like a flirty note from someone special, and unless his job is super-intense he'll have plenty of time to daydream about you.

3) Ask him a question about something he knows a lot about.

Newsflash: Guys like to show off for you. So if your dude could use an ego boost there's nothing like letting him feel like an expert. Ask him about fishing, the 1983 Chicago White Sox or the mating habits of the Guyanese woodfinch — whatever he's into. Just remember to nod a lot and look really interested.

4. Give him a very specific compliment.

Telling a guy he's funny, handsome or smart is always appreciated, but the really meaningful compliments are the ones that reveal how well you know him. Something like "I love the way your face scrunches up when you're doing the crossword puzzle" or "You have the sexiest calves I've ever seen."

5) Send him the diary entry you wrote after your first date (or write one now).

One of the best things about having a girlfriend is reminiscing about what you thought about each other in the beginning of your relationship. Reliving all of the uncertainty and anxiety is strangely exhilarating. I can't think of a better anniversary present than a sanctioned peek into the diary of someone I care about.

Anyone with marital problems, PM KK..

Agree on the has to marry part.

If filed without AOS, it is something like $385 (with biometrics) to file as well. With AOS, it is included in fees, and the fees are not prorated just cause you filed it previously.

From what I am seeing on the USCIS website, it can be filed without AOS. But, is recommended to file with AOS.

JG - I really don't like funerals...my dad and my uncle used to have a funeral home in florida....and I just never was into the process or anything.

All I know is that they have a "party" with big sound systems...and food and drinks....
