Morning all! Another night of not sleeping, I have been up since 3 am :(

JG all of your pictures came out great! I love them all...you and Shaunsgal look wonderful as well. I'm like a little girl right now....because I helped Dill's pick out the right shades of yellow and green....kikikiki...it turned out way better than I imagined!

Jawi.....good job. The colors were gorgeous together.

Morning Yardie Family!

I am so far behind LOL but hopefully today is not crazy at work and I can post , I miss you guys!

Did everyone have a good weekend?

I did!!! I went to two cookouts. One on Sat and the other on Sunday. The one on Saturday was just o.k. It was sort of a b-day celebration and the best thing about it was the cocktails. I went to the liquor store and they were giving out simples of this Peach Tea drink and when you mix it with Lemonade oh my goodness it was so good. I ended up buying a bottle so I was the life of the party but the food there was horrible. The burgers tasted like Tofu and they were supposed to be 100 %beef burgers. I told the host and she wasn’t too pleased with me. Oops. The one on Sunday rocked they had all kinds of food and it was good. Nothing like Shrimp on a grill. I have to try that!!! They also had cocktails too so I was in rear form. I watched the BET awards and I wasn’t too pleased with them. I got bored and went home and heard I missed the best part when Janet came out and when Maxwell sung my song Pretty Wings. Ughhhhhhh :crying:

But its o.k. because I know they are going to show them over and over again a million times.

I know I couldnt get to sleep last night... I miss Tierra already!

how long is she gone for? My son just left on Friday to go to his dads for a month...and I miss him already too..

Same here, she left on Saturday and will be back 8/4. I took a bunch of time off in August to hang with her. I am sure we will be bickering as soon as she gets back, but thats ok!!! She better miss me though!! LOL

See what I mean. WHen my kids are off I'm at work and when I'm off there in school. LOL

Missed this....

I did too. Went to Cardinal Baseball game Friday. Dillon's wedding and reception Saturday. Swimming and played softball Sunday. Busy weekend. Crying cause it's Monday AGAIN!!!!! :angry:

Jawi, the colors look gorgeous together - that's not a combination I would have thought of, but in the park it was perfect.

I went to see The Hangover Sat night - Hysterical movie, I cried from laughing so hard -

Sunday went to see my friends play - outdoors on a deck overlooking the sound - Lots of faces I haven't seen in a long time

Thank you...I felt like the honorary MOH because Dills and I went through tons of pictures for her wedding gown and the bridesmaid gowns...the dresses she picked just didn't do her beauty justice at first...then she PM'd me this one and I literally cried because it was so beautiful and I see that my gut instinct was right. I gave the "Jawi stamp of approval" (she wouldn't buy it until I said yes LOL). Then she told me she wanted to do yellow and green...so we went through I think Dessy and did the color combination on the bridesmaids dresses until we had the right shade. It was so fun...that's why I wanted to be there so bad...because I would have fought her real MOH for my spot in the line up. LMOAO!!!

Yay! Louis' GC just arrived in the mail!

Congrats...I know that is a load off.

DaDa when you started chatting with me at the bbq on Saturday I knew that was not the spot to be. LOL

i finally braided my hair this weekend

i'm gonna keep it in for probably 4 weeks, if i can tolerate it that long

the nights have gotten so damn hot
