Thank you Ells...he is coming home on August 20th...we are both wishing it was earlier now...but I wanted him to spend time with his girls and I wanted to at least have doctor's approval to drive again...

Mrs.LadyD...you have to get the DS-230, Part 1 to the Embassy in order to be scheduled for an interview. You can follow the tried and true method of emailing the embassy for a date to drop off the DS-230, or you can do what I did. I completed the forms had it signed by A, and then mailed it off to the Embassy using DHL. I included a cover letter (which I can email you) that also requested an interview date within a certain month (June for me), and it worked. I think I breezed through the Embassy with my method vs...waiting for God knows how long for the Embassy to email back a date to drop off the form...then waiting for them to schedule an interview.

Hahahahaha.....don't you remember me yesterday asking about the Color Purple play? Well, thanks be to God...why are they on sale almost half price...89 down to 49!!!! And they are Orchestra seats....Halaloujah...I know I jacked that up...but you know what I'm saying.

So I'm taking (dragging) hubby on a play date to see one of my favorite all time movies...THE COLOR PURPLE....

God is always right on time. See KK it was meant for you to go see the play.

I know right!!! He has YET to fail me...now I'm working on not failing him..

Now I really hope Hubby enjoys it...if not..I know I will... :thumbs::dance:

this is definitely the hard part of the equation. LOL I hope you both enjoy it too. I've heard it is NO where near the movie though.

Thanks jawi........I do want the answer. I just stepped away from the computer doing laundry and left it logged in. Congrats on your approval and I hope you have speedy recovery. I think I just might try your method. I got ahold of someone at the embassy and she said I just have to wait for them to send us a letter with the next step..............

Thanks! We had our interview in less than a month from the date NVC received our case from USCIS. You should go ahead and prepare all the forms and supporting documents for the interview now as well. You can have the Embassy email you a copy of the interview letter for the medical since the mail never seems to arrive on time. Once you get your interview date, you can schedule the medical right away...he just has to bring the interview letter and 4 passport pictures with him on the day of. A didn't have to have any shots because they still had his records from 2004.

Hi My2 & Nat! How are you this evening? It just hit 5 o'clock & I'm about to get out of here. But not before reading a new e-mail from the dept director that NOW we have THREE furlough days a month instead of 2! That means 3 unpaid days a month & an even lower salary....about 12% less now. GREAT! What a way to start the weekend....

Sorry about the pay decrease Ells. :(

I just got excited for nothing. I heard on the radio that Metro PCS has unlimited international calling for $5 a month. I thought I heard wrong, but nope the website says the same thing. However, they don't cover Jamaica yet. UGH!! :crying::crying: They said to keep checking. It would be nice for my fiance when he moves here to call family and friends. Does anyone use them? I've heard you can't always get reception. Any reviews?

I hope everyone is having a nice night. It looks like I'm the only one on here.

Ells (F)

This economy is scary fi true... we had to lay off 6 people this week :(

In a company of 25 people that's HUGE... and like family... it was not an easy task...

I know you won't see this till Monday but I hope you enjoy the simple things in life this weekend, like elbowing the one you love in the face at night :Dsmiley-hug012.gif

I use MetroPCS

I commonly reffer to them as Metro Piece of S70374-lipsrsealed.gif

Yes it does drop calls sometimes, but I tell you $50 a month and I can talk and txt all day, I'm cool with that!

This Princess can't do minutes

I will be calling to put in another vote for Jamaica to be added!!

I did look on the site as soon as I heard about the Intl. plan and I saw the Caribbean was not included... whats up with that??

If I could call him unlimited for $5 a month smiley-shocked018.gif
