Hey everyone!!

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

cho man.. we forget where we come from.. i used to sit at the laundromat for HOURS while my mama run errands.. i would be fine if i have to go and dry my clothes for 30 min or so..

now my daughters never had to do that so that would surely be whiney if they had to go.. mek me tek them just for a reality check.. how bout dat!!!

Ducking now.... I'm with Damion {sp} I hate the laundrymat. I would carry my clothes across town to wash at my aunts house if I had to go alone. There are just creepy... Everyone just sitting there looking around...old men..and little children...just scary.

But in the end...I gotta do what I gotta do...so if I had some dirty clothes..and my machine is broke down...maybe...

It is a tad bit creepy. However, I should have been the one complaining not those two. I never been to a laundry mat until I my first apartment years ago.

ummmm i feel bad now mi good good up fren put me on to the laundromat that wash your cloths for you and i went and my clothes smelled soooo good and they was folded like it was nobody business i keep saying im not going anymore because that's just lazyness but ughhh ruhhhhn i just picked up a load yesterday :whistle: damn is that weird someone you dont know washing your clothes???

** I been to hell and back but the key words is I'm back thanks to the grace of god! **

11/16/09 sent DS230 via email

11/18/09 rec email stating interview was scheduled for Dec

11/19/09 sent email asking what day in Dec and they responded Dec 8th!!!!! 2WEEKS

11/20/09 rescheduled to Dec 22 my preference date

12/22/09 Went to JA 12/9 and di ting is postponed until mi kno it's right!!! mi nah rush into nothing mi rather wait forever and kno everyting proper and sort out then rush and bawl lata... Mi kno when mi ting ah happen it ah happen RIGHT suh fah now mi ah wait likkle more...

and no newly.. thats not bad.. i will always pay for convenience!!!.. ppl laugh at me.. i will pay for the $4 milk at the gas station, so i don't have to go to the grocery store... so i understand, lazyness is ok LOL

When I needed to buy a washer and dryer about a month ago, we went to the bargain box in the paper. Got a laundrymat washer and dryer for $150 for the pair. They are huge and work so well. Only problem is you have to put 75 cents in every time you run them...you just get it back out right away. My kids think it's hilarious.
