....when it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead LOOK beside you and I'll be there.....

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

So a tree fell in my house in nyc it was on the news. It happened on Thursday and I found out I have illegal tenants who had the nerve to be on the news. ugh this will get ugly.

For those in the boston area - mr jengs is making a loody board and it will make its apperance at Franklin Field soon. lol

congrats to everyone on upcoming interviews, approvals and bringhing home loved ones.

Oh, Jengs....so sorry. Good luck with that.

Good morning all! Got up really early to get to the mall. Old Navy is having a $2 tank top sale. I dont want to miss out!

I find Loody very complicated! I prefer dominoes

Uh oh.....how did that go? Some of my friends who still work at Old Navy posted videos of the madness when they had the $1 flip flops going on. Craziness!

Good morning, All!

I set my alarm clock to wake up at 6:20am (knowing I'm not a morning person) to work out before coming to work early today... But snoozed until 7. Even then, it was SOOO EARLY in the morning.

Fortuantely, the rest of the week I don't have early morning meetings, so I can come in for 9 and have a higher chance of working out in the morning.

Happy Monday.

in jamaica, is "getting something stamped by a JP" the same thing as notarized? if so,what is required to do so? just an ID?

I believe so. I think my fiance went to a JP to get something notarized to get his license. I think he just brought his passport. Hopefully someone will come along soon that knows for sure, but I'm pretty sure that I'm remembering correctly. Ahhhhh this process made my mind like mush.

tell me about it. here is my problem. i need a notarized letter from my stepdaughters mother stating that she gives permission for her daughter to migrate to the US to live with me and and my husband. as i'm typing up this letter to send to her, i noticed on my stepdaughters birth certificate that her mothers name is spelled wrong (off by 1 letter). i called her to ask her about it and she said that on her ID, her (the mother) name is also spelled wrong but on her birth certificate (the mothers) her name is spelled the right way. if she only needs her ID to get this letter notarized and not herbirth certificate, then i should be ok with spelling her name wrong since her name on her ID matches her name on her daughters bc. what do you guys think?

I think it will be fine.

Congratulations, Jamerican Queen. Don't forget to add an entry in the timeline on the Interview Schedule thread when you get your date.

Philly, I hope all went well at the emergency room today.

Ladies, thanks for all the well wishes both here & on Facebook. Steven warned me not to get TOO excited over a touch. But I'm trusting & believing that the approval is soon to follow, hopefully before we hit the 6 month mark on Wednesday.

Thompson2B (I always type your real name then change it to your VJ name), do you have any more trips to JA before November? That's a long time to go without seeing your man!

So my friend is in town from Oklahoma. We went to this after-five event at CHURCH tonight where they served dinner, had a live band playing old school & jazzy songs. The singer was SO GOOD we would've bought her album if she had one. There was mingling between the men & the women and also line dancing. But why, WHY, did they play that Stanky Leg song (not sure of the name, as this was the first time I even heard it). I was sitting like :huh: the whole time that song played & people did the dance in their dressy clothes at CHURCH. :wow:

Hey!!!! Be easy yuh know Stanky Leg is my JOINT!!!! I know for a fact I would have been one of them doing that dance too. Whenever I hear that song my girls look at me like oh no here she goes. I can stanky leg with the best of them and do the solider boy and the dunk and what ever else you throw at me. I'm so bad that Lil Wayne is coming to concert in July and Yuh know mi going!!!

Snap yuh fingers in the air and shake yuh micros too..

 I'm not dissing your dance, DaDa... just expressing my shock that the first time I heard that song it was in church!

I went to junior high with Lil Wayne. How people change...

Morning Ladies,

I wasn't on all weekend so now I have to catch up!

Sorry to say but I have some sad news, I lost the baby. :crying: I was depressed about it initially, but I realize that the Creator has a plan so we will just try again.......

Well aside from that drama I had the biggest fight with my kids Saturday night and let me tell you it wasn't pretty. I'll post all the drama shortly, just got a call from the COO and I have have a major project before he gets here in a few hours. So stay tuned
