Shemmy you've seen my hair, I'm wondering if I should just cut it all off again or try grow out the rest of the perm with the length I have now.

Afternoon Ladies

I am home sick today and working from home. smiley-sick005.gif I have been spotting and have cramping so Hubby won't let me go to work and take that long journey to NJ and is taking great care of me smiley-sick005.gif but has me wrapped up in hot blankets  LOL. trying to get an appointment at the Dr. is like trying to get an appointment to see Obama :dead: they say go to the ER :ranting: you can be seen in a few days. This is the second and final time I am dealing with this, I am changing my primary care physician today!

Jawi I am so excited for you, Hubby and I are waiting to hear the good news. I'm with Dada I'm nervous too not about the interview but abut you getting too excited in your condition! Please promise you will just scream and attempt a kingpupalick! For some reason they don't call the #'s in order and no matter what time A's appointment is they will call him when they are ready. Our appointment was 7:00 am and we weren't called until 11:00 and you know I was hotter than fish grease and not to mention starving LOL.

We are here standing by for the good news, ok I am going to try and get out of the hot blankets and get some air LOL

Oh no please take it easy Philly. Spotting and cramping is not good in my opinion. Not so sure what the blankets will do...but okay. LOL

hey ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am back at work and let mi tell oonu bout mr roger's arrival.. it was just like i have seen him everyday.. its so natural w/ us we never feel like ppl that haven't seen each other in mnths. he said immigration went well.. he didn't get a hard time at all.. the 3 hr layover was good tho becuz he said it did take a good 1 1/2 hrs to get thru customs.. he rode the train to his next gate and still had an hour to spare.. he was glad he had a layover cuz by the time he got to dallas he just had to wait on his bags since he had already been thru customs in ATL

tuesday we had went grocery shopping which was nice to have somebody help me and then he noticed my mom and i had rigged my bed so he went to lowes (i thought of philly and home depot LOL) and got some tools to put it together properly.. and then we went to speedzone (go kart, mini golf and arcade)for a couple of hrs..

my fam and close friends had a lil get together at the house for him and he met everybody, he was nervous, but as i told him my mom is cool.. roger was quiet, but then again he always is.. he looked comfortable so thats what mattered.. he conversated w/ everyone.. it helped that he knew some of my friends already from our ja trip...

yesterday, we went by the job so he could meet my friends, then ice skating which was very HARD!!!! we were both sweating and had to take MANY breaks.. roger only went around once tho BUSTA, he been hollering about ice skating since i met him and he only go round ONCE!.. and i went twice then we walked around the mall.. and went to see the taking of pelham 123.. i was VERY tired.

as far as food, i made ya'll proud! i made eggs, bacon and toast both mornings and stir fry last night (he liked)..

fast food, he had long john silvers (too greasy) and taco bell (alright) and el regio's, this authentic mexican joint (alright)..

2night i am making pork chops, we'll see how he likes that..

we are enjoyin each other and working as a team, .i started w/ the dishes last night and he was like, baby u not gonna leave nothing for me to do.. (smile)..

as dara agreed, i recognize i have to stop going into this tour guide mode.. i fought my desire to take him to the lake last night.. its like quana.. the boy is gonna be here for mnths, u don't have to do everything the first week..

roger is speaking alot more patois w/ me.. lhe spoke more this last 3 days than he have in 2 years LOL i feel like all of u now, like i got a real jamaican mate

he said some lady was just staring at him yesterday.. (rolls eyes) its cool, i mean i know he gonna get attention.. i just hope he don't let it go to his head which he says it won't.. but we'll see.. i told him don't make me BUMBACLAAT his rass! LOL..

overall everyting CRISS!!

Quana sis!!! I'm so freaking excited for you! I wish I could be there. Tell Roger welcome man welcome. He is speaking patois now because he is afraid that he will start twanging...LMAO!!! kikikikikiki

I'll say - I wish someone paid all my expenses and gave me $500 a month to spend as I wish....

Girl tell me about it! I wouldn't rock the boat EVER. LOL

I would let it grow out for 6-8 months then cut off the perm..which won't be much. What made you decide to go natural?

I've gone natural before, I'm just tired of keeping up with a relaxer. I wished I had never put one in the first place. My sister and I our hair is almost straight, it's just too much to manage, so we put a relaxer in to tame it. Without the relaxer we would walk around looking like ChakaKhan. I've also had locs before, which I had to completely cut off to boy short, wid my big old head, it was cute though for a moment...but mi head look like one flat dumplin, so mi just grow it out which was very fast and permed it again. I know crazy.

okay roger HATE the twanging.. he always talk about ppl that do that!!! STOOSH him say LOL and FAKE jamaican.. so i guess u are right. he gonna speak as much patwah as he can so he won't LOSE it lol

Plus - hasn't he been home in JA for a longer period than normal between you seeing him? I think when you are around the patois more, you speak it more - when he was in the Bahamas and FL, he probably got used to speaking more proper HENGLISH (as Lawny says)
