Hey ladies wah gwaan??

Ooh I caught up on some movies this weekend. I seen Slumdog Millionaire and I must say this was an EXCELLENT EXCELLENT film. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole dang time wondering what was going to happen next. This movie I could watch a second time. Next was Fight Night. Pretty good too. Then came He who Finds a wife. I loved the saying in this movie. They kept repeating he who finds a wife finds themselves a good thing. I was shouting at the t.v. I know that’s right!!!!Very good story and it reminded me so much of my marriage to my soon to be ex husband. Last but not least Bucket List. At first it was slow but of course it got my attention and made me cry at the end. So I would say four out of four. Not bad…

Jawi and I watched this one yesterday too. It had some good parts but it looked very low budget like someone was just holding a camcorder. The guy was an AS$ even to the girl he ended up with in the beginning. Remember how he wouldn't look up when she came in his office - JERK BOY!!

I've been meaning to watch Slumdog but tonight I get to watch my show "TRUE BLOOD". I TIVOd it and I'm stopping to get popcorn on the way home. This is a curl up on the sofa night...WHOOT WHOOT!

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Awwww Philly, I thought if anything you would have this issue with your youngest but I guess he’s just glad someone’s there to keep you busy and out of his hair. I didn’t think your oldest would have trouble with it. Wow, my heart goes out to you ‘cause I know yours must be breaking. It’s hard to get them to understand that you still have a place for them and then as their mother to see them hurt because they feel like they are not loved the same. I think I will end up going through this with my son although he’ll be on his way out of my house soon. We are so close. Though he accepted my daughters’ father I don’t know if he will accept A as my husband. :sigh: I really worry about this so my heart goes out to you. I’m here if you need to talk…always, anytime. smiley-hug005.gif
