Hey all!

I had some curried goat and white rice. It was sooo good!!! How is your hair looking?

its still flat, I have to try and stay as cool as possible for the next couple of days so it doesn puff back up!!

I need to go make so icing for the cake I finally made for A... I think he was getting ready to lock me out if I didn't finally bake him a cake!!

Hi Portland. He is doing fine. We are still waiting for his EAD so he can start working. He hangs out with his brothers and sister and then comes home to cook and hang out with Ja until I get home from work. I feel so guilty that he cannot work yet bcos I go crazy when I am stuck at home after surgery etc. and cannot work.

How was your weekend?

I am good, just got done with my wifely duty for the week, I made breafast this morning, dinner and just baked a cake... So I just told my hubby my wifely duty is complete for this week!! lol

I know all about it, atleast he has someone to hang out with, my hubby got his EAD last month and can't find a job.. I try to reassure him his time is coming but he gets soo bumped out sometimes!!!

~9/26/08 - NOA 2 received

~10-01-08 - NVC processed petition

~10-03-08 - Packet 3 mailed

Hey Yardie crew, My boo is watching the Magic game so I had some time to catch up. I have been reading a lot about being honest and adjustments and all so I decided to post what I been going through.

My boo has been here about a six weeks now and I love that he is here, I still believe that we are meant for each other and cant wait to walk down the aisle. BUT it has been anything but easy. The first week we got into a huge argument about my ex because he called me to wish me a happy mothers day. He is very jealous and kind of insecure. I dont think he trusts me %100 but he says otherwise. We are good most of the time and usually talk through our disagreements, but we we argue we ARGUE. I mean cussing, yelling and once he had to go outside to cool down.

The hardest part of the adjustment for me has been our different parenting styles with my daughter. She is 4 years old and kind of spoiled rotten thanks to mommy. She is my only child and even though I know its bad I basically give her anything she wants. When he came he was like ####### she is rude as hell (she is). I had to pray on this a lot because I knew he was right but somhow I felt like he has no right to tell me how to raise my child but then... oh yea he does he is gonna be my husband and the only father she has ever known. He is really good to her but he also lays down the law and does not play when she is being rude and wanting her own way.

Did I say I am tired as hell, I have never worked, cooked, cleaned, washed and take care of everyone like this my whole life.

Other than the adjustments, we are doing great. He has only been gone 3 hrs and I am missing him like crazy right now. I love coming home to him everyday from work, I love going grocery shopping, going to the mall, hanging out with family and doing every day things with my boo. Most of all I love sleeping next to him every night, and the sex is GREAT. even better than it was in JA lol. The thing I love about him is he is such a family man, he likes to watch movies together,hang out at the park and take my daughter outside to ride her bike. He gets so excited, he races with her. I just sit there and smile at them.

No relationship is easy it takes a lot of HARD work, patience, understanding, forgiveness and you have to really pray and stay close to GOD, only he can help make it work or get you out if its not working.

I have yet to go to crossroads...I'm trying to get there...

Good morning everybody!!

hope all had a good weekend.. i am pooped.. had the party i went to for a coworker friday, work sat and then after church sunday.. i tried to get everything in order which i should have been doing the other 2 days, but hey.. at least i know i am a procrastinator LOL

roger JUST call me to tell me he board the plane :o .. i was crazy excited last night, but right now i am good.. check my pulse around 4:30 today tho ..OMG!!!

lovesponge thank u SOOOO much for sharing.. i def will be praying for u, these lil adjustments are apart of REALLY getting to know each other i think.. overall it sounds tho like things are going great!!!! :thumbs: shoot my ex husband didn't like how soft i was w/ our kids and like u i realized that alot of times he WAS really right in being more strict, but he also had some lightening up to do and w/ time w came in the middle. u guys will too..

i am just melting over hear reading ur post cuz i love a FAMILY MAN! big up to mr lovesponge..

portland...U GO GIRL on the wifely duties.. i think u are good for the week too !! LOL

lol!!! yeah right.. i guess never say never, but i seriously doubt i will be able to stay away from the yardies!!!.. im still at boring rass work remember!!!
