I agree with you Wakley you don't always see the signs especially your own. I know I didn’t see mine either. Its still quite crazy how it all happened and I know mines wasn’t about a GC because he knew I wasn’t giving him one of them nor was it about money or gifts. Umph with 4 kids I couldn’t provide much besides the cutest Xmas package I sent down there last year. Memba Quana?? It was so cute ladies and the gifts inside totaled less than 40.00 but I'm not going to tell what was in it. I might need to send the same things to my next boo and I don’t want one of you ladies chatting bout hey didn’t you give them same tings to Roc?? Anywho what happened to me and Roc I will never know and neither does the people close to me. I guess things just happen for a reason I just wish I knew what it was...

I have never found humor in the mishaps of others. I usually felt horrible because I knew that could happen to anyone and love does hurt so even if u were my worst enemy I wouldn’t want you to experience the hurt. Aww hell I 'm lying if I hated you I wouldn’t care about what type of pain you went through (Jah forgive me) but if I had no ill feelings towards you I wouldn’t want to see you go through that.

All relationships foreign or American have their ups and downs. Some end joyfully and others don’t I guess its the luck of the draw but you can get played by an American and you can get played by a Jamaican or any other nationality. Shoot them Africans are hot and heavy out there too. Anywho we just tend to talk more about the Jamaicans because its easier to put fault on another race then our own. Come on now how many times have you seen American couples where you look at the guy or girl and know they are just after something?? U see a beautiful woman with a man that needs to put a bag over his face or a handsome man with a woman that u know her own momma cries when she looks at her? It happens all ova de world I’m sure!!!

But the one thing we are going to do is stop all the pointing at fluffy girls because we are not the only ones this happen to!!! So all ya skinny girls out there size 14 and down better back up off us….

I have a question, do you think relationship/adjusment is easier if you and your husband/fiance/wife/fiancee were from the same country/culture -- had a dicussion the other night with some friends from a yahoo group -- it got so heated, that I didn't even finish my food.

Yes i do to the tenth power!!!! the both of you can relate to certain things, i was talking to this lady I met in the airport going to JA she was 40 and going to see a 17yr old boy who she wants to have sex with but don't (clears throat) and sends him money every week for school(this been going on for 2yrs) anyways back to question i told her i was going to JA to see my man and we was talking about the culture difference and she was like at least ur blk im a white women going to see a Jamaican boy I'm like yeah but there still is a difference...

I know there are certain things that i will relate to that J won't have a clue about and vice versa I'm not going to front i am confident and know that j would have tried to get with me if I was American or Jamaican! but sometimes I think like humm I don't know about soccer or about making festival amongst other ish I wonder he would prefer someone that do??? actually I said this to him and he got pissed off! But it is what it is like when I told him lets go to KFC on a Sunday he look at me like I was a damn alien…

Next month will be 1 year since I'm married and to be honest the only argument we've had was when I wiped out 3,000 songs on his ipod, he realized how silly it was and apologized immediately. I have to say my husband is different, very different. I kind of feel bad the way I treated him when I met him, but I didn't let him know I was Jamaican right away. I also gave him a different name, I wanted to know what he was up to and I like the chase.

3 digit interstates are "children" of 2 digit interstates. If the 3 digits start with an even number then it's circumferential. If it starts with an odd number, then it's a spur, or offshoot, of the parent interstate. Usually if there are multiple circumferential highways in a state, the first one is 2XX, then 4XX, then 6XX... but once you get to another state, it starts over. So you can have the same 3-digit interstate name in multiple states. Like, there's a 610 going around I-10 in Houston AND there's a 6-10 running semi-along I-10 in New Orleans.

Sol, speaking as someone who has been here for a while - I can tell you that many of the members have tried to say things, either on the board or in PMs - think back, it's not always well received - And you know that I personally will call something out if I see it - Even if I am not sure that I am correct - Cause I believe that a woman has a right to know - But not everyone can take hearing it, or wants to hear it, or sees that the person is just trying to have their best interests at heart.

Having been cheated on, and gone through it - I would NEVER EVER EVER want another woman to go through what I went through, and if I can speak up cause I see something, I am gonna do it - But not everyone is receptive to that -

Yes Sus I know you are not one to keep your suspicions quiet but I am just wondering how vocal others are if they see something wrong. I know I for one will always let someone know if I think they are getting played or being mistreated prime example this girl in my department keeps getting beat up by her man. Well after awhile I got tired of seeing it and hearing about it so I talked to her about it. Ok that didn't work so then I talked to her good friend who in turn talked to her mom after that I just pray. She still has not left him but at least I can sleep better knowing I did what I thought was right in my heart now what she does from there is on her. I offered my assistance she can take it or leave it. All I am really saying is are we here to build each other up or are we here to laugh and gossip about all them who fall? I personally take no satisfaction in hearing about anyone being hurt in ANY relationship because LDR or otherwise it ALL HURTS the same.
