Last night I read the first 4 chapters of "Such a Pretty Fat." This author is SO HILARIOUS! I love the footnotes at the bottom. And I like how the book is really current. She talked about contestants on a season of Top Chef. I saw that season, so I know exactly who she's talking about. I'm still trying to figure out if this book is meant to be fiction or nonfiction, though. Is this REALLY her story?

Thompson2B I think the form that they are talking about is for the nonimmigrant visa, so this woundn't apply to you. I wish when they have different agency take over a process they would give them so training or atleast a reference manual.

I spoke to beautiful (I think that's her name) today, she's in Jamaica and they were asking me about the visa fee, I told them to go to NCB and the people them there didn't know what she was talking about. I told her don't worry, she have an early interview tomorrow and you can pay it there (they may be pissed), but I'm hearing too many people say that NCB is not familar with the process. Did they change something? The same thing happened with my husband's friend, but I told him to go back into the back and ask for the manager.

Thanks Trelawny!!! I'm so glad we aren't the only ones. I'm just going to do that..explain he tried to pay and they said he needed more paperwork, but weren't clear on exactly what, so can we just pay it now. This process is soooo messed up!! From Nat waiting atleast 3 months after me for her NOA2 when she only applied like 10 days laters to the simple task of paying the visa fee. UGH!!!!!!!

This really eases my mind though so thanks a million!!!

u'r welcome...at my interview a year ago I saw many people paying there fees there that were K-1, but the people at Window A were not happy, but what the hell do they have a CASHIER's window for....cho mi hate it when dem give people di runround.

Yea I'm going to the interview. I don't care if they are mad about the visa fee or not. I'm going to tell them they need to train the people at NCB better so they know what they're doing. Now my only concern is the No Imped. I still don't understand why we are getting the run around on that. We ordered it around May 6th.

Is ur current relationship the 1st one after u separated from ur ex? why are they "concerned". Don't get me wrong. I would be a maniac too if my children all of a sudden have another woman in their lives to confuse the heck out of them in regards to mommy and daddy relationship.. BUT do u guys see where I'm going with this?

Wow ladies some of you have gone thru and are going thru some hell with these EXs. I guess I should not complain. My ex is too lenient with Jah and just lets her do anything she wants, but otherwise we get along great. We live next door to each other and I get along well with his live-in girlfriend. So far there has not been any glaring problems between my hubby and my ex. They borrow each other's mechanic tools, etc. and take turns mowing the lawns. I pray to God it remains this calm because the alternative will not be an option for me--living next door and all.
