I think my man likes us looking alike. Last time I was there, we got our hair done in similar styles. He plans on locking his and is encouraging me to lock mine. I'm opting not to, as it requires more maintenance than I prefer.

Me too! Funny how almost no pictures at VisaJourney come across on my work computer, but as soon as someone posts some half-naked pics of people dancing, those come through large & colorful.

Please share how you found about about VJ and especially the Yardie thread!!!

Me: The freaking day after I sent in my petition I did a google search and found Visajourney.com. And Shemmy sent me an email introducing me to the yardie thread.

I GOOGLED Visa info and found it. Wanted to do this whole thing without a lawyer...

I think I posted a question and someone from the Yardie Thread invited me over. Maybe ForeverYoung or Lawny. Not alot of "Lucian Luvahs" on VJ. :-)

hmmm.. when i met roger i was obsessed w/ jamaica and googled everyting pertaining.. i found Marlita's blog (nother yardie).. fell in love w/ her and Evan's story and after a lil more research, it led me to the yardie thread on VJ.... (im really not that crazy ya'll)

to this DAY .. i hardly venture out of the yardie thread on VJ..

I wanted to do this process without a lawyer too so i googled about the visa process and found this website....i posted a question about the Marriage Certificate cause i didn't have the certified one when i mailed in my petition and used the one you get from the pastor that marries you and asked if that was ok....and Marlita answered me and said she did the same and she told me that it should be ok and since we had similiar timelines I just basically followed her around....LOL...

BTW...I would love to know how Marlita is doing....
