How can anybody predict what the budget will be in 10 years. Think Reagan in 1980 vs Bush Sr in 1990. Or Clinton in 1999 vs Obama in 2009. 10 years ago we had a 1.6 trillion dollar budget. Now it's 3.2 trillion.

you mean WJ Clinton never paid the bills, and left that legacy for the future admins....meanwhile the TRi=LAteral Commission owns each US President lock-stock-n-barrel, J Carter was the very first true-blue Tri-Lat Comm cadre as President.....who runs Amercia? today it is a man named Peter Sutherland, who is Co-Director of the Tri-Lateral Commission, CEO and Mangaging Director of Goldman-Sachs, as well as serving as Co-Chairman of the World Trade Organization....98% of America has S-T-U-P-I-D (smeared) all over it's face today...the other 2% include cadres of the Tri-Lats (who preen memebers from Yale, for special tasks, case-in-point: like re-organizing GM, Brian Deese, age 31, has no Master's Degree, no prior work experience, but who assisted H.Clinton & BH Obama in their campaigns - both Obama and H Clinton received over $22 million each from Goldman Sachs, i.e. financial lobbyists between 2005-2008 alone....both are Tri-Lateral Comm members (private and by invitation only) further just this year China is now WTO member....chunk that one into the "SPSS" estimate of recovery and progress of "middle America"

Actually I've not heard much outside of the whining on VJ, and the shrieking of the op-ed talking heads, whose every utterance forms the basis of nearly every new political thread.

Not entirely accurate, since we can now look back on what Bush did, and of course are living with the results... We aren't looking forward to how Bush actions might [the right says "will" when discussing Obamas future actions] effect the country. I for one found the guy hard to hate, and came the closest to voting for a Republican president ever for his second term. Couldn't quite pull that trigger though.

We can fairly look back at the Bush presidency, Obama has been pre-judged prior to election night, let alone his actual inauguration, and the whine festival has gotten to the point of being destructive of the fabric of our society. Time to sit down, shut up, realize a field of losers was put forth and rejected by the general population, and get things done in a positive manner to fix what is broken.
