hoping that the card upgrading of computer system goes nice and quick for our 10yr cards

hey guys

i was approved april 27th, still waiting for 10 yr card---recieved mail on may 27th stating that my card was pending card production---this was after i did a service enquiry about my card---

i wonder how long before we recieve our cards---i know there is a 8 week delay, worse case scenario i hope------but wouldnt it be nice if they finished the upgrade of their systems in the next few days---that would be awesome wouldnt it---i mean how long can it take to fix or upgrade a computer system---2 weeks maybe 3??

wouldnt it be nice if the cards staring rolling out in the next week or so---cause im sure if the system is done upgrading they will come thick and fast

Thanks for staring off this wishlist/theory thread . I think it help a lot of VJers waitng for GC to jump in and give their thoughts about the matter.

I have two theories about the card production delays.

1- They are not upgrading their facilities and infact the real issue might be something else.

2- They are upgrading but, not just upgrading the computer but all the card producing machines and computer with new machines and new computer, so that might the reason.

So if someone does gets approved in 4-5 months by either center and they get their card in 8 weeks/2 months so infact both centers have take more than 6 months for the entire process, although the 6 months was just care processing only.

Let's see what happens.
