I-131 is optional correct? Should we apply for that if we want to have a wedding ceremony in Korea in March? Would that grant a reason as such to have a formal korean reception in Seoul?

Or we have to wait until he receives his green card.

I was under the impression that I131 is only for a very particular reason....

I-131 produces and AP document that is valid for 1 year which will cover next March. If you do not have green-card by then, you WILL need AP documet. There is NO fee for filing I-131 with the I-485, so you may as well file it.

AP is NOT needed for travel AFTER getting the green-card.

NO reason needed to file I-131 other than to be able to travel home while AOS is pending. It is an interim benefit of AOS filing.

Yes list all items in the package on the cover letter.

Only the I-485, I-765, and I-131 need 2"x2" passport type pictures. 2 each for each form, so a total of 6 photos, only of the person adjusting status.

Note: Package I-485, I-765, and I-131 as if they will be sent separately, but place them all in same envelope, DO NOT share any evidence among the forms, each need's it own evidence.

I-485+G-325A+I-864 + their evidence

I-765 + its evidence

I-131 + its evidence
