Does RFE effect an interview date already received?

I had already received an interview letter for I-485 on May 29th, 2009. Now on June 2nd, I received a CRIS email regarding an RFE. I will be expecting the hard letter in a few days. My question is, that since the email indicated that the I-130 will be in suspense, does that also effect my Interview date? Or that is a totally seperate issue. Since my I-130 is pending at CSC. Now that I have already received an interview date, I assume, my case has been forwarded to NY field office. Any advice?

NO  the RFE will NOT affect the AOS interview date.

If you interview for AOS before I-130 is approved, they will simply approve you PENDING the approval of the I-130 which may or may not be in suspension depending on your response to the I-130 RFE.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Thank You YuAndDan! Thats a relief.

One more thing. Since the email didn't state what evidence is lacking, would you think it could be something to worry about. Its been 6 months since i sent the I-130 application. Since i was fairly new in our relationship and in the US, we didn't have much to show. However, I have enough to fire back. Joint accounts, Joint Utilities, Joint Phone bills, Joint tax filing, and an addition to the family in 2 months. Will that be enough? Should I send all this, even if its not asked for?

You will just need to wait for the RFE, it can be anything, even something sent in with the I-130.

Note the I-130 and I-485 needed to be treated as separate, so of you included only one of something something (Like copy of marriage cert) that both I-130 and I-485 required, it may have be with the I-1485 and not with the I-130 which are handled by different sections of USCIS.
