hi,

God bless you always.

At since 2 yrs greencard conditional ako, pwde ko prin bang mremove ung conditions after 2 yrs kht divorce na kmi? Or after 2 yeras kailngn kong umuwi ng pinas?

Right! For divorce, meron ka namang matinding ground.

By the way, kung saan ka man sa US, dapat alam mong contact numbers pati place na malapit sa yo na pwede mong lapitan kapag nagkaproblema ka sa asawa. Just in case, doon ka tumuloy sa kanya habang naghahanap ka ng masisilungan.

i don't think she really has grounds for divorce... it's all a case of he said, she said.... she's not in the US yet .... unless she taped all their conversations when he asked all those perverted things... he can deny everything... and she will come out as the girl who is just after the green card.... after the green card is on hand, she will divorce the husband... just my two cents...

According to her she saved all their chat conversations. So I suggested that she get her divorce here kasi dito sa US sya ikinasal. To the OP, you need a lawyer. And its good na na-save mo mga chat ninyo. You need legal assistance to terminate your marriage.

wait a minute. where did you get married? in the usa? if so, i would assume your marriage is not registered in the philippines? if its not, then technically you are still single in the philippines. im not very good at legalities but i suggest you talk to a lawyer. i have a feeling your lawyer will tell you that you dont need to get annuled in the phils since your marriage wasnt registered here anyway. i have heard of some cases before where the american husband filed the divorce in the states and just sent the filipina wife the divorce papers, easy as that. i just hope your husband is kind enough to file the divorce in the usa to give you freedom because if he really wanted to piss you off, he could very well give you a hard time on this. so i suggest you discuss this with a good lawyer .

Kung sakali bang mpawalang bisa ung kasal nila d2 s pinas nya ggwin, anytime pwde prin ba nya mgamit ung CR1 visa nya? if ever kng ppnta sya s mga kmg-anak nya dun for another purpose..

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

Sorry i cant write in tagalog as im still learning, but Before you make your decision, lets see what the bible has to say so we can get the moral issue out of the way and see if its right with God.

Matthew 19:7-9 They said to Him, “Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?” He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.

Divorce is never commanded, but permitted by God in certain circumstances, and God permits it because of the hardness of human hearts. The ancient Greek word for sexual immorality is porneia. It is a broad word, covering a wide span of sexual impropriety. One may be guilty of porneia without actually having consummated an act of adultery.

This is why Jesus said in Matthew 5:28 "Whoever looks with lust has committed adultery already with that person in their hearts" God will judge us not just by the wickedness of our actions, but by the wickedness of our thoughts.

To this permission for divorce, Paul adds the case of abandonment by an unbelieving spouse (1 Corinthians 7:15)

The first Commandment is "I am the Lord your God who brought you out of Egypt and out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before me." This means to put God first in your life. The term "gods" means basically anything you put alot of your focus on. "gods" doesnt just mean false gods like baal or sheva or whoever else. It could mean money, it could mean lust, basically anything that you love that consumes your thoughts night and day. From what my wife told me, it seems this man is trying to set himself up as your god. The bible also says in Matthew 6:24 "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other" "Master" being the imperitive word there.

So my own advice to you is that staying with this guy would not only be bad for your life, but it is EXTREMELY dangerous for your salvation and entering the Kingdom of God. If you stayed with him and you picked up on some of his wickedness, it would be bad, and staying with him in a place where you are far from your family and friends and are only around him and his friends, they would surely get you into their wicked way of life.

Just a copy of marriage certificate. In her case, a copy of US marriage certificate.

If she did not report it to the Philippines consulate or Philippines NSO, then she is still single here in the Phillipines. Though she is considered married in the US.

Maritoni,

Mahalkita clarified the CR1 requirements. The OP US marriage is reported here in the Philippines. She has to file an annulment here in the Philippines if she wants out.

Yes u are right rheanick, the OP said their marriage in US was already reported here in Philippines. So best for her to get annulment here in PH..anyone can suggest how to get annuled here?

she needs to consult a lawyer in the phils first , discuss what she wants and then take it from there.
