My husband sent the I-130 since May 4,2009 but untill now no NOA1 arrive.

Do we need to call or just to wait untill NOA1 recieved?

Its so depressing na................

Yeah u need to call them and inform that about ur noa1. It will be 30days on 4th and u need to constantly calling them until u get ur noa1.

interview date- 11/06/2009

visa approved! 11/17/2009.. pheww!!

received passport-11/20/2009

entered in US- 12/14/2009

POE- New york

welcome received- 02/01/2010

green card received- 02/08/2010

removal of condition-12/15/2011

ROC package sent to CSC- 09/21/2011

You filed last month and ur already depressed.There is a long way to go,so keep ur spirits high and do call in to check the status.

Calling DOS begins,here is what I was told

Jul 7,09 No info @ DOS

Jul 10,09 Case sent to DC-pending

Jul 17,09 Pending

Jul 24,09 Pending,you can call every day for update but the day they call him for passport it means something is up so you get to know it before we do

Jul 31,09 Pending AP

Aug 06,09 Call from USEM requesting to submit passport

Aug 07,09 Every thing looks very good,visa issuance is up to the consulate!!!

Aug 07,09 USEM is requesting applicant's passport :)

Aug 17,09-call 1 Visa issued Aug 3rd,EM recvd passport on 10th but still havent returned it

Aug 17,09-call 2 Case pending some kind of processing (URGHHHHHHHHH NOT AGAIN)

Aug 18,09 call to pick up passport,picked up from AMEX

Yeah u need to call them and inform that about ur noa1. It will be 30days on 4th and u need to constantly calling them until u get ur noa1.

I would call. I lived in Korea with my husband for 2 years and I just came back home 2 months ago. The mail man didn't recgonize my address so my NOA1 was sent back to USCIS. Once I called they told me and I changed my address to my work address. If I wouldn't have called I would have waited 2 weeks to find out something. Of course when you call they will ask has it been 30 days. You can just say yes since it's almost there anyway.

2009-03-13 : Married~

2009-04-20 : I-130 Sent

2009-04-28 : I-130 NOA1

2009-05-20 : I-130 Approved! (Your I-130 was approved 22 days from NOA1 date.)

2009-05-27 : NVC Received and assigned case #.

2009-06-05 : NVC Left

2009-06-29: Medical (passed)

2009-07-07 : Interview Date

2009-07-10 : Visa Received

2009-07-30: US Entry

2009-08-13: Green card shipped

2009-09-01: Applied for SSN

2009-09-27: SSN Received

2009-12-12- Driver's Lic. Issued

2010-01-06- Hubby signed 3 year contract w/ military

Next Step: Coping with being alone for 5 months~

Thank you fellow Vj's...I always observe the timeline recieving NOA1 to all CR1 filers they get just only 1 week or less than 2 weeks..

As noted in a previous post, USCIS will not give you any info unless it has been 30 days. We never received our NOA1 and called USCIS twice about it They told us it had been mailed out and that they could not issue a duplicate. They did however send us a letter indicating this was the case and they noted our case number and NOA1 date. This process will certainly test your patience but hang in there. Good luck :thumbs:
