scheduling of interviews 2nd week of the month...

So yeah,

Our case was completed on May 27th. And when i called NVC they said that the interview will be scheduled 2nd week of june, and I should call back then, as they will not have any information prior to that. And now, today i receive an email that our interview is in july! Its only the 2nd of the month. so i don't think this 2nd week thing is quite true.

and i am really excited and nervous but more excited finally, things are falling in place.

Jul 24,09 Pending,you can call every day for update but the day they call him for passport it means something is up so you get to know it before we do

Jul 31,09 Pending AP

Aug 06,09 Call from USEM requesting to submit passport

Aug 07,09 Every thing looks very good,visa issuance is up to the consulate!!!

Aug 07,09 Passport submitted

Aug 07,09 USEM is requesting applicant's passport :)

Aug 17,09-call 1 Visa issued Aug 3rd,EM recvd passport on 10th but still havent returned it

Aug 17,09-call 2 Case pending some kind of processing (URGHHHHHHHHH NOT AGAIN)

Aug 18,09 call to pick up passport,picked up from AMEX

Sep 26,09 REUNION :)

Congrats to everyone on their interview!!! I'm still in the beginning of NVC haven't paid a bill yet. But its good to see the 2 week interview thing isn't true.

Service Center : California Service Center

Consulate : South Korea

2009-03-13 : Married~

2009-04-20 : I-130 Sent

2009-04-28 : I-130 NOA1

2009-05-20 : I-130 Approved! (Your I-130 was approved 22 days from NOA1 date.)

2009-05-27 : NVC Received and assigned case #.

2009-06-05 : NVC Left

2009-06-29: Medical (passed)

2009-07-07 : Interview Date

2009-07-10 : Visa Received

2009-07-30: US Entry

2009-08-13: Green card shipped

2009-09-01: Applied for SSN

2009-09-27: SSN Received

2009-12-12- Driver's Lic. Issued

2010-01-06- Hubby signed 3 year contract w/ military

Next Step: Coping with being alone for 5 months~

06/06/12 - NOA2 stating I-130 approved

06/29/12 - NVC received case

07/09/12 - case entered in the system,assigned MNL # and IIN,email add given

07/12/12 - beneficiary emailed DS-3032, auto response received

07/18/12 - AOS fee bill/paid "IN PROCESS"

07/20/12 - AOS fee bill shows "PAID", mailed AOS package

07/25/12 - received AOS

07/25/12 - IV Fee Bill Invoiced, paid $230.00 "IN PROCESS"

07/26/12 - IV Fee bill shows "PAID"

07/28/12 - mailed IV Package

08/03/12 - received DS 230 packet

08/14/12 - sent RFE

08/16/12 - NVC received RFE

08/21/12 - log in failed

08/22/12 - case complete!

I'm really late with my entry. I also received an email the 2 June for an interview in July. Blessings to those that received them and blessings to those that are soon to come.

Congratulations :thumbs: and i guess that story about the first 2 weeks of every month just recorded msg from them ya know , mine was complete in April 23rd and got interview date by the end of May , so its not a rule but ya can say the most time they do it in the first 2 weeks

no i didnt got any

my case completed May 13 ,,and so somehow i was sure i wont have a july Interview looking to how busy the US embassy here ..so most likely i will have Interview date End of June for an August Interview ...thats my hope ...

i dont know what to do with tickets we reserved already for wife to be wit me here (reserved before USCIS approve ) , so it represent a real issue as i need her with me in the Interview .......

uhm ..lets say how things will go......

Ok the 2nd week thing is definitely not true guys- looks like it depends on the embassy.

My case was completed on June 17th and i received an email today June 19th for an interview August 4th.

Definitely wasn't expecting it so quickly so do call if you are still waiting on one! Good luck!

i saw Interview letters always happen rather the first two week OR the last 10 days of the month ..urs is today ..TOTALLY BRAND NEW :D

but that gives us hope that at anytime we can just have it :)
