I got my visa...with wrong A#!!:-((

Today I got my visa by certified mail.. :dance:

when I checked if everything was ok, I noticed the A# on it doesn't match exactly with the one on my NOA2, only the last three digits are matching.

I am confused...is this an error or is that a different number on the approval notice?

I would be so disappointed and upset if like a few digits would mess my visa up. :(

Everything else is alright...

Does anybody have an idea what that means and can give me just some info?

Or any suggestions what to do now?

I'd so love to just ignore I even know about that "typo" or whatever it is....

And then there is a red number printed on the visa as well, what number is that????

And I thought, my worried were over when I was told the visa got approved.... :crying:

The RED number is your Visa number, though the Control Number can also be used when filling out your I-485.

Your A# has nothing to do with your visa number, since the A# is assigned by the USCIS and the visa number comes from the State Department.

Stop worrying... you're fine!! :D

Congrats of getting your visa!

Just don't forget to fill out an I-94 and get the departure card stappled in your passport when you arrive!

I was really worried I had to send it back in or something...and who would want to do that after waiting for it so long?? :blush:
