I dont think Republicans needs to be called terrorists. and I personally dont think hes a terrorist, however he is a murderer. My biological father unmercifully beat, bit, broke my mothers shoulder blade and shot her to death in front of me when I was 5. Hes a murderer, not a terrorist. Same with that man and in my own opinion same with the doctor who killed babies.

The man has been detained, arrested, and convicted of posessing bomb making materials. In addition he has been implicated in abortion clinic bombings. Now, he's murdered another human being, not in defense of himself, his family or others, but because of a political or religious ideal. What would you call his actions?

The assassin of Dr. Tiller is a terrorist. His goal, and the goal of people like him, is to silence the pro-choice community into submission by unleashing a reign of terror. They want to scare good people into not practicing their legal profession and they want to scare women into back alley abortions.

These are the very hallmarks of terrorism. Not unlike Al Qaeda at all.

The arguments are more nuanced than simply screeching "Murder!" when you hear that someone has had an abortion.

Abortion is not murder if you do it early enough - four weeks, eight weeks, even twelve weeks.

Performing an abortion after 21+ weeks is inexcusable.

If the fetus could survive outside the mother's womb, it's murder - plain and simple.

I'm not saying it was ok to kill the guy, but what goes around comes around.

It isn't "plain and simple" though. This Dr. wasn't charged with murder - he was charged with misdemeanors related to an accusation that he manipulated a loophole in the law so that he could perform abortions on willing patients.

As to survivability:

Kansas law prohibits aborting fetuses that could live outside the womb -- a milestone that is generally reached midway through the second trimester -- unless two doctors certify that continuing the pregnancy would cause the woman "substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function." Dr. Tiller cited that reason for aborting hundreds of viable fetuses over the years at his clinic.

Dr. Tiller was well-known for providing abortions for women who discovered late in pregnancy that their fetuses had severe or fatal birth defects. He also aborted healthy late-term fetuses. Some of his patients, he said, were drug addicted and some were as young as 9 years old.

I think you need to read the history on this guy. He's been targetted before and was shot in both arms by someone who was jailed for over 20 years for arson offences in addition to the shooting.
