NVC and Choice of Agent

It has been 2 weeks that NVC has not processed my Choice of Agent email. I have seen people who sent their email after me but their emails have been processed. Is there anything I can do? They just keep telling me that it takes a few weeks!!!

I emailed AND mailed my Choice of Agent for. I received a reply by email over a week after we sent in our I-864 forms, so it isn't always faster. Consider mailing one if you haven't already, or call the NVC to find out if they have accepted it. If they have, then you pay your fees and get rolling with the rest of the process!

An automated recorded message system is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week to answer case status inquiries.

Status of case information can only be provided by entering your NVC case number of CIS receipt number (USCIS NOA1 receipt number). NVC has information on received petitions only. If the automated system does not recognize the NVC case number or CIS receipt number you entered, most likely caused by NVC has not yet received your petition.

Telephone operators are available to respond to more in-depth inquiries.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM (EST). Best time to call is 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM to 12:00 PM.

Thank for your reply. Actually I do check the status over the phone, and I talk to them everyday but same response. I just do not know what to say to get them to investigate the issue!

You should definitely consider mailing your choice of agent form, although....I never opted to do so and my email still got accepted. I kept emailing it basically daily from the beneficiaries email account...makesure you give that email account to an operator at nvc first. Eventually they should get your email. There is no harm in sending them the email multiple times. But still, do consider mailing it out...seeing as it's been 2 weeks and you haven't been accepted. Actually, now that I thinkn over it...it took near 2 weeks for mine to get accepted also....basically 10 days to be exact. Just keep emailing them and wait a few more days and see.

Remember to keep checking the avr AND talk to an operator!

I e-mailed mine like 12 days ago, I called NVC today to check what's going on... The lady said that it takes a while as they receive thousands of e-mails a day. Hopefully, we will have it accepted in the next few days so we can send the rest of the documents. They haven't received yet our I-864 packet although we sent it last Tuesday May be this has something to do with the DS-3032? :unsure:

I sent the email a few times during pas days, hopefully the pay attention to one them!!! I have seen 2 cases on this forum, we sent the email at the same day, and theirs got accepted!

My AOS documents was delivered on 26th but it got into their system just today. Hopefully yours get into their system very soon.

hey one question i do have, how do u know if the accpeted ur DS-3032 bcz i send it yesterday? thanks for the input. u can just comment on my page if u have any input. appreciate it. abby n sheryl

If they email you regarding IV bill, or they let you pay the fee on their website, means they have accepted Choice of Agent request. the other way would be calling NVC and asking them.

hey thanks and my attorney got the bill and she forward to me and i dont want attorney anymore so i am doing the NYC myself, i paid the bill on friday and i send the DS2032 on saturday and my wife send it on sunday by email, i am waiting till wednesday when they approve the payment and if the send me email then i know they have my email. other wise i will call them on thurday. thanks again. abby n sheryl

Just wanted to let you know that my Choice of Agent email just got approved and I paid IV bill.
