are we the only couple who are still waiting for the 2nd noa? we never got any touches. we sent our I-129F on June 11. they got it on June 12. the last update was on june 17. after that nothing. my fiance called uscis today but they didnt tell us anything we want to know. they only told us to wait. worried. is there anything we can do? any suggestion?

we are waiting either for Noa2, he is going to call USCIS tomorrow.

what we can do is just wait I think......

we are worry.

The same with my fiancee and I as well. Received Noa1 in June 15th. No touch since June 16th. Maybe we hear any day regarding our Noa2. Maybe our files are on the desk of the the office clown. Hopefully we can get good news any day now.

does anyone know why sometimes they take so long like more than 6 months or a year? they have problems or just bad luck?

we notice that CSC has been working pretty fast lately but we still hear nothing about ours. we are getting really worried.

good luck to us all.

Still waiting on our NOA2 as well. Last touched June 17th. Getting a bit anxious because I would love to have her here for Thanksgiving to introduce her to my whole family. We shall see though.

First of all: congrats for all the appovals

Needless to say that CSC did slow down 'a bit'. I bet it has something to do with 'we have met the 2009 goal' statement, so they prolly kinda relaxed.

Oh and looks like due to the new website system launch, there are some hiccups with the online updates...

Well, lets stay positive, we are almost there..

cheers

I would reread the average timelines. It will take around 20 days between NOA2 and the consulate receiving it and then for Canada an average of 88 more days for the interview assuming all goes right. So if you were approved today those estimates would put your total visa approval in January.

Good luck in your journey. I hope it goes quickly for you.

Sounds about right... We received our NOA2 on 31-Aug and consulate received it on 16-Sep. Even with everything going smoothly (medical, police cert, etc.) we are still looking at an interview date of late November to early December.

My math puts it at 14-20 or so days to the consulate. Vancouver consulate is averaging 34-46 days from receipt until interview over the last 90 days (and its trending downward at the moment). This means 48-66 days from NOA2 the interview should happen. If that happened today it would be November 10 - Dec 2 for the interview and approval. Thanksgiving is Nov 27. It is possible albeit less and less likely with each passing day without NOA2 approval.

I think it varies though from approval to consulate, ours only took 9 days. Hope we get as lucky with an interview date.

The pre-adjudication stage was information that my lawyer was able to get out of them after something like 2.5 hours of being on the phone with them. Not entirely certain how they did it other than being very very persistent and having a law firm back them up.

Grats to everyone getting their approvals! Still nothing on this end though... Boo. :P

I feel you Barron. I hear patience is a virtue. I am not sure the person who said that was living in a separate country from the person they loved.

Or have anything to do with the USCIS... Don't get me wrong I am sure we will all look back on this process and laugh, but so far I ain't feeling the laughter..
