Can anyone tell me where to find the list of things needed fo the medical appt in Manila? Ive been looking but cant seem to find it! Thanks guys.

Sorry, wasn't able to check VJ for a couple of days...

Anyways, no need to set an appointment for the medical exam. You can just walk in there. What you need to bring are the ff:

1. Passport with 6 months or more validity

2. 4 pieces 2x2 pictures with white background

3. NVC letter and or Appointment Letter

4. Valid ID just in case the guard ask for it

5. Medical/Vaccination record, previous X-ray result, if there's any.

I saw at the Philippines Forum that someone posted that US embassy is now requiring all applicants to have the medical exam at least one week before the interview. Also, if you will only bring the Appointment letter, make sure you know your MNL case number. You will need it in filling up the forms.

AOS: Adjustment of Status; Form I-485

EAD: Employment Authorization Document; Form I-765

AP: Advance Parole Form I-131

Hello June 2009 filers

I sent my petition in June and to make a long story short it was approved October 2009. On October 19,2009, NVC mailed my approved petition via DHL to Lagos consulate. Is there any advice for the interview process? Has anyone on this forum received their K1 visa from their specified country. Im so excited

You may want to post your question in the regional forum for your embassy. Each countries US Embassy operates differently.

I don't believe anyone has received their visa yet on this thread. A lot of us are getting closer to our interviews in Nov & Dec.

ok boys n girls.. lol

John completed his forms and checklist and is sending them courier to the Embassy tomorrow (i hope). They should have our packet 3 Thursday (10-29). With any luck we will have an interview in a few weeks. Police cert scheduled to arrive tomorrow or Thursday at his residence.

If I'm reading my duties right, we get the interview, take everythign we own to the interview.. lol and he pays whatever needs to be paid there.. Then we file fo rthe AOS/EAD and AP once we are married :)

Thanks loveaboo! Do we just pay at St. Lukes? or is this the step that we have to pay at the bank first... Im pretty sure we have to pay at the bank befored the interview right, and then they stamp the DS-157?

You're very welcome. You will pay approximately Php 10500 (USD 213.35) at St. Lukes on the day of the medical exam. You pay the USD 131 visa processing fee, payable in Php only, approximately Php 6157 at BDO bank before the interview and they will stamp the DS-157. Goodluck!!!

I called DoS today and they said the consulate has the case as of 10/24 but has not scheduled an interview... I sent the required docs via email on 10/25. Thuy is getting better and I was able to talk to her a few hours ago... should be out of the hospital next week...

Wendy, the consulate got Mark's package today thru Royal Mail! Yeah! Now we hope his interview is not scheduled for when he is here or he is gonna have to reschedule. Can't wait to see him again on Nov 11!!!
