Oh wow... great news! I will call them Thursday to see if they have it... That number is the same case number that the consulate will use and I need that number to get the rest of our paperwork finished.... As soon as The consulate says they have our file, they will get an email with the paperwork for Pkt 3 and will schedule us an nterview.. this may shave a few weeks off of our wait time for pkt 3 to arrive and ultimatly speed up the time to get an interview.

Do you have all of the other paperwork filled out yet? The 156 156k 230 134 etc.

Scott, what is 156, 156k, 230, the only thing i have filled is the i834 I think it is which is the affadavit of support

What did you file for? I134 is the affidavit of support for family based cases... I864 is used after the K visa beneficiary enters and is applying to adjust status and for CR1 visas along with 130 at initial filing.

Correction made :innocent:

It's driving me nuts as well seeing the July approvals. I can feel for the Mar and April filers who are getting their approvals now.

I haven't had a touch since 06/26/09. Is that mean they haven't done any work on my case? Hopefully our's will be this week.

In any case I am happy that June filers will have their fiances here by Christmas. I just have to remind you all that I was the 1st to say that hehehe...

yeah i want to be there for xmas at least, Cindy's Birthday is 2 Dec, but getting there for that might be asking too much lol

Hang in there you guys!! it's coming!! :)

I just picked up my police certificate and passport style photos a little than an hour ago. I'm going to pick up my university certificate on Saturday (the weekend in Egypt is Friday), and get both translated...

Still hasn't received a reply from Cairo consulate yet... We are running out of time, I need their answer to go from there...

I have a question guys.. John's dad is our cosponsor for the visa.. They both are a self-employees and they own the same business. Can they present joint tax returns or do they have to provide separate ones? I'm not quiet sure if I fully understood John's question, but if there is anything else they should present other than the two copies of I-134 they filled out and the joint tax returns please let us know..

Soo... I called the NVC for the first time today! Spoke to a representative and I gave her my EAC# and she said she has nothing in the system.. so I guess its not there yet. She said to me " Its pointless to call this early since your approval is only dated Sept 22nd. Wait atleast 2-4 weeks before calling back" Thats bull...right?

So, when I do call back, I just want to see if they have our file, and what our new case # is? Is that what im supposed to ask? She really wasnt very nice, and I waited on hold for about 15 min. I wasnt too happy with that phone call! I hope every rep isnt as rude as her!

Scott,

I called the NVC today and they forwarded our case to the London consulate yesterday! No AP at the NVC level. I tracked it using the DHL help I found on here and it is somewhere in England at the moment. We are so excited that we are out of the NVC and on to the next stage of the journey. Hang in there...they will have a record of your case soon!
