I mailed our I-129 overnight to CSC on 4 June. Checked the USPS sit and the package was signed for 5 June. I was curious about the usual time frame for getting a case number. I paid with a money order. I suppose I could check if there is way to find out if it was cashed. I'm assuming this is the "NOA1" I see referenced. Good luck and a smooth and speedy process to everyone

Got ours in the mail just now! Too cool. :) High hopes for all who are waiting.

Zip and Barbara,

Glad you got your NOA1, congratulations!! Wish you the best of luck with your journey... But this topic is for Vermont Service Center filers not California Service Center, so to be able to update your info with CSC June filers you can check this topic http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=200043 .. You are welcome to post here any time though :) And keep us updated.. Good luck (F)

Aya

I think I am getting totally lost, so far I have found 2 for June filing... We should all stick together so which one is the right one to stick too??..

*good luck everyone*

This is the older topic with most VSC June Filers, please all VSC June filers post here...

My fiance just sent our packet today! Yay!

Now we're also one of the many couples here waiting for USCIS to decide on our fate...I'm not quite sure how I feel. I'm anxious...But I'm excited knowing that my loveaboo and I will be together again soon. But I'm also worried that something might go wrong and we won't be together again soon...

The waiting is just so excruciating...I just hope everything goes right and tour journey will be really smooth.

Goodluck to all of us!!!

Welcome loveaboo!

Agree with Clay & Mila! The waiting IS killing me... Especially when I think that I've just started and see that VSC numbers have been a bit discouraging recently...

But that's OK, let's all keep positive thoughts!! Soon we'll be together with our loved ones!!

My fiancé always says: "Each day is a day closer to you!"... Well, he's right...

Good luck to all of us!! (F)

We just had our check cashed today!! :D We were beginning to worry lol.. But there's something I don't understand.. In all your timelines (the couples who got their check cashed and got their noa1), you got NOA1 before the check was cashed... We haven't got our NOA1 yet.. Is that normal?

Chris_Janna and Loveaboo welcome to June filers! :)

Most of us got our NOA1 date from the internet. Just get the EAC number off the back of the check and check your case status from here:

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis

You will have to create an account but you will be able to see the date the NOA1 was issued.

Hope this helps.

I got my hardcopy of my NOA1 a couple of days after the check was cashed.

Well we knew it was cashed when John called the bank today and they told him it was cashed.. How do we have the EAC number?

You will have to ask for an electronic copy of the cashed check, which shows the front and back). At the back, there will be ten alphanumerical symbols beginning with EAC or WAC, etc. Hope that helps!

Btw, I'm a May filer, but wanted to wish you all good luck on your journey! :)
