Hey, I hope this helps whoever maintains this site. I didn't see this anywhere, and I'm too tired to keep looking around for it, or look into it more. Please see the info I have below:

Bug: Account not recognized by reviews controller and unable to post embassy review when logged in with "Remember Me" unchecked.

Replication: Log in with "Remember Me" unchecked, go to http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/, try to submit a new review read ">> You must be registered to post a review! Please register first! <<"

My apologies if it's already been reported.

Thanks and good luck!good.gif

Click on your name on the top right corner and select "my settings" from the drop down menu.

On the page that opens it says "profile settings" and if you look at the options it says "profile information" and "edit about me page"

Bug: Extra blank lines can appear in "quoted text" boxes.

When I reply to posts, I ensure that no blank lines appear between the So-and-So, on Date - Time, said: line and the first line of the quoted text. However, two blank lines often appear when my composed reply is actually posted.

This has happened whether I do or do not erase text in the section that I plan to quote.

I can edit my newly posted reply and remove those blank lines, but one would think that they shouldn't show up in the first place.

Thanks, si man.

Bump, si man.

This is not a work around lmao.

That's HOW you edit your timeline.

The 'login' thing is hit or miss if you're currently posting on the forums but you just enter your email and you're editing.

This is HOW you do it. I promise.

And I told you how to get there w/o clicking my link, but it sounds like you didn't try it.

Clicking on my link was a work around, following my instructions was the answer.

I am also having problems editing my timeline, I updated when I arrived with the POE date and then did not log in for a few weeks. Now I am unable to update my timeline at all. I have followed your instructions above as well as using your links which takes me to a page with the following:

f_closed.gif VisaJourney Timeline Login Page f_closed.gif

Note 1: You are not logged into the forums (link to register or login). Forum members logged in can automatically add/edit their timeline.

Note 2: If you are logged in to the forums and are still getting this error please log out (link at top right) and then log back into the forums to resolve this issue.

To manually add/edit a timeline, please enter your email and click the Add/Edit button.

Make sure to remember this email as you will need it to edit your timeline in the future.

This email does not need to be the same as for the Forums Member Account.

I am definitely logged in and have logged out and back in several times as instructed but just keep getting back to this page.
I am also unable to manually update the timeline as it just returns me back to this page.
Before I moved I had no difficulty updating my timeline even on different devices an PC's.
I am stuck.....

Yeah I tried that, like I said I just end up back at the same page after receiving the following message:

f_closed.gif Timeline Entry Page f_closed.gif

( Add / Update / Remove Timeline Data )

Timelines Error: You can not create two timelines!

You already have a (or are associated with another) timeline in the system under a different email address.

Please go back and enter the correct email address or contact an Admin by clicking here

if you have forgotten the email address stored in your timeline.

I only have the one email address so I dont really know why it wont let me update it. I was using the site daily on both my ipad and my work PC prior to moving and never had any problem with my timeline or any other functions.

  • 2 weeks later...

This has happened twice now in a matter of two months ... All of my content has gone *poof*. I know this affected quite a few people the first time. I'm not sure if it has affected anyone else, again.
