Well, clicking on your link worked, but took me to a page where it tells me I am not logged in. I got to that page before.

After entering my email address I manually edited my timeline.

I've had this problem before, where the timeline edit page doesn't recognize I'm logged in, but it's ok...worked around it.

This is not a work around lmao.

That's HOW you edit your timeline.

The 'login' thing is hit or miss if you're currently posting on the forums but you just enter your email and you're editing.

This is HOW you do it. I promise.

And I told you how to get there w/o clicking my link, but it sounds like you didn't try it.

Clicking on my link was a work around, following my instructions was the answer.

Minor issue so thought I'd post it on here rather than start a new topic but my timeline correctly says I'm being processed at NBC but when I post it says VSC. Strange!

This is something you need to change. You need to change it in your profile. The timeline and profile aren't linked where you change one it changes the others.

Go here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=usercp and change the office that you filed at to NBC.

The login thing isn't supposed to be hit and miss. I haven't had to enter my email address since this auto-login started a couple of years ago... so there is obviously a bug. I tried it's suggestions including logging out of VJ and logging back in but it didn't help.

You're just supposed to edit/add and it recognises you're logged in. This is how it's been for years so it's very odd and I agree with calling it a bug. It worked fine when I updated my biometrics date (auto logged in) but doesn't work now.

Wouldn't be a problem except i rarely use the email address it's linked to so I forgot what it was and entered my "main" email address and it had only a partial profile. Very strange.

i note the auto-login doesn't 'take' for me, if'n i've deleted cookies.

i think it's a different cookie that's written, solely at that one bit, that one time.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

That's not the bug the other poster was addressing.

I'm not saying that isn't an issue, but they were concerned with being able to edit their time line.

They called clicking my link a work around to editing their timeline when that isn't the case.

That bug is unrelated to their "issue" at hand

FF for both.

It'####### or miss.

Right now, I can get to my edit timeline no issues, it validates correctly on both FF and IE at the moment.

Next time it's not working on FF i'll test it on IE again.

Confirmed the issue. Log out and back in to fix it. I will see if I can ensure this does not continue to happen. :)

Bug: Extra blank lines can appear in "quoted text" boxes.

When I reply to posts, I ensure that no blank lines appear between the So-and-So, on Date - Time, said: line and the first line of the quoted text. However, two blank lines often appear when my composed reply is actually posted.

This has happened whether I do or do not erase text in the section that I plan to quote.

I can edit my newly posted reply and remove those blank lines, but one would think that they shouldn't show up in the first place.

Thanks, si man.
